LRDG with 20mm Breda
Bomber_County replied to Bomber_County's topic in LSM 1/35 and Larger Work In Progress
They are rubber tyres, the kit is elderly but still fantastic. The 20mm is from Italeri, it’s not bad at all. Didn’t care much to having being towed. Thanks for the pics Martin. I also bought the SAS jeep to add to a future diorama........haven’t built one of those since the mid 70’s...... -
Ok guys, my first build log......ever.......... So starting with this.. hoping to to get to this ( picture for research only) And here’s where I am up to....

1/18 P51C Mustang "Lopes Hope 3rd"
Bomber_County replied to airscale's topic in LSM 1/35 and Larger Work In Progress
And I thought I was the only who did cross stitch. I have worked in design consultancies for over 40 years, in each we had a modelmaking department. Those guys are brilliant but man Peter you take it to another level. -
Welcome aboard to LSM the friendly side of modelling forums. Great first project, as a complete Shermanolic the Asuka / Tasca Sherman’s are beautiful to build. I built their Firefly, good thing lots of spares to go into the stash. Once the Sherman bug bites, I’m up to seven now. Looking forward to see how the Eduard AM works....

Only 5 degrees here where I am, not very spring like with Easter next weekend. Unfortunately have no four legged friends to show you guys. Our last cat passed away about month ago after 18 years with us. Has left a big furry hole in our lives.....

Jeroen as usual simply stunning...... -
Thanks Jeff for the thoughts. The trouble is my parents have always been selfish and self centred. Never really had a father and son relationship with him ever. That’s what’s makes it so damn difficult now as he becomes even more demanding. As for either of them knowing the words, please and thank you, forget about that one. We also have Glenda’s parents, both in their 80’s and house bound. Then add her sister who has ME+diabetes +++++++ no comment as she could get better if she tried.......what did Iwe do.....
