  1. .....this one.
  2. Oh no, that's tragic! Done the same thing before... tore off the decals cuz I used tape. Now I use blutack or Panzer Putty when I need to work around decals. Gaz
  3. Ummm... Ern.... The moment you decided to whip out the ruler... it ceased being a quick build. Gaz
  4. Only 3 hours to fill and sand? In 1/32? I must be buying the wrong kits. Things just take longer now. I expect better of myself. I even let the paint dry...lol Gaz
  5. Nice Start, John!
  6. Sweet Fokker!
  7. Wow to the 3rd power!
  8. Frank, Some great work, already! I am impressed. I was a short-Time member of VMFP-3 which flew Rf4's... All I can really remember that you might find interesting is white painted LG with some chipping (bare metal, no rust in the chipped areas), and soot on the inner vanes of the burner cans. Of course... I was a lot younger then, and the anti-radar gray of the 80's had replaced the cooler schemes of the 70's. Gaz
  9. I've done so much to combat my fear of heights. Bungee-jumping, rapelling, Crossing 2- and 3-rope bridges, spy-rigging... Yet my bowels turn to jelly at the prospect of a fall and sudden stop. Gaz
  10. Would love to see you complete this one. GAz
  11. If I was standing wear she is, I wouldn't be smiling, and there'd be a load in my pants.
  12. I like how the Swiss planes have all of those extra first aid kits on-board and clearly marked.
  13. Thanks Harv!
  14. thank you, John!
  15. Thank you, Maru!
  16. Holy smokes, nice details!
  17. I wonder if the value is changed by having the wheel on the not-left side.
  18. A big day today. Added all of the indy link 'Magic Tracks' and got the base paints down: I've done my best to keep the Zimmerit subtle. I hate it when it dominates the model. Thanks fer lookin! Gaz
  19. Thanks, Sapper! A lot of what is going right is the medium I'm using shown above. Most modelling putties don't work well for zimmerit. Gaz
  20. Thanks Kent, I'm using this to do the Zimmerit: You can find it at Crazy Clarks or other stores of that ilk. It responds well to raking and slicing, but not to pushing like you might try with the tip of a screw driver. It doesn't from a skin, and in this application becomes chippable after 20 minutes. It doesn't bite into the plastic and doesn't from a skin. Gaz
  21. Great work so far! Disappointed with the XXX, though. I was expecting some jiggly-floppy bits adorning the cowling or empennage. Gaz
