Yeah man... that engine! Not far from real. -
Uh... besides looking like eyes... why? Aren't the factory lights sufficient to pierce the Canadian snowfall?

Hasegawa Ki44 Akeno flight school.

Very Nice Dave! My favorite Japanese plane. I have the Hasegawa kit, and plan to build it in the not too distant future. -
It's the best tool in my arsenal.

Woohoo! Break out the foil!

So I discovered I’ve been cleaning my airbrush wrong for 10+ years

Unless someone proves to me the superior benefit of front extraction, I’ll stick to the rear pull. The thought of losing that tiny part, or stripping it out is more than I want to deal with every time I paint. -
Yes... Having used HGW belts... I won't buy anything else. You can't buy Pepto here in Australia. They've decided it's not good for children. Heck... when I was a kid, that stuff was pink magic in a bottle. I never liked the taste though... but it's still the best thing in the world.

Hi Bill, I see that you are now getting some of the same issues I had attaching the wings. I apologize for modding your photo... The gaps at red arrows required thin shims, and the yellow arrow gap caused me to break the wing joins completely. Remove some of those interior detail points, and completely re-attach, instead of sanding off that cluster of bolt heads and put filler in the gap. It was a messy, imprecise surgery.

Lovely clear and shiny canopy. I have given up on closed up aircraft. It just happens too often that some bit of flotsam detaches itself from some hidden corner and adheres itself to my hitherto clear parts. -
VEry nice progress, John.

He does a new episode ALMOST every weekend.

Don;t you watch uncle nightshift? He's pretty entertaining.

Parcel just arrived... I've wanted some still-water for a while. Perhaps it and my Kotare Spitfire can work together... And figgies... and stuff. Needed MvR.

PCM-1/32 Reggaine Re.2005-Finished

Nice masking around the wing leading edges. One of those features peculiar to Italian aircraft. -
Well... Kaiser... He's grown into a big, lanky juvenile waiting to fill out. Pardon my pasty knee. Destroyed toys, flip flops, and fluff... all round. I take him out for short walks a few times a week. I can only hope he has a long healthy, un-lamed life. Gypsy says: "I'm fine too... Thanks for asking!"

Probably was. I remember firing it once and something went wrong. The report was nowhere near as loud as it should have been, and I completely missed the target. Suspicious (not that I'm a good shot, but more by sound and feeling), I opened her up, removed the drum, and could see the bullet sitting about 1/3 inch deep from the breech end of the barrel. I was really glad I looked. Must have been an under-loaded cartridge.

Ouch!
