"Cardiac rehab" is mostly just plain old aerobic exercise, my friend! You'll be feeling better in no time.

Ho-lee-chit. I wish that was closer to me!

Wishing you the best, and a total recovery, my friend. -
Helluva birthday present, huh?

I'm good, I booked at one of the hotels across the street.

Well dang. I missed out.

Happy bday buddy!!!

Looks pretty good!

Sounds like you need to have a few fellers over to help you with that problem, there, Carl!!

This is actually at the top of my list for budget bourbon, buddy!!

I have an Anycubic Photon resin printer that I like a lot, and I use Autodesk Fusion 360 to create the files needed to print. The printer itself and the slicing software that comes with are easy to use, learning Fusion 360 is much harder. Very possible though, if you have any experience with 3D modeling software.

Very interesting! most of those planes are not really sphere of influence, but might be worth a look anyway. -
You can always leave them to me if you want to. To hell with family. 😁

Discontinued Silver Wings kits one-off re-release.
biggtim replied to HubertB's topic in Modelling Discussion
Hubert, Would you happen to know why they chose these particular kits to re-pop? Are they the ones that are the hardest to find original issues of? Tim -
That is totally awesome!!

My M1 Garand project, finished earlier this year. Started it while I had the kung flu back in January. I showed a couple of you already, but I thought it might be ok to show here, too. Reproduction walnut stock, carved, painted, and weathered in flag scheme. The rifle is a Springfield Armory, January 1954 issue, all period correct parts. Got it a few years ago from the CMP. The trigger group (maybe more, not sure) spent it's service life in Turkey as a loaner. Still has the range dope tag inside the base plate in Turkish.

Just over 23 hours one way from here. Probably have to spread that over 3 days to keep it from being too heavy. Not the fastest, but would allow us to see a lot of country, and driving may be the best option available to us, depending on the kung flu situation next year. And, I can bring models!! Surprisingly, renting a small SUV and staying in hotels is looking cheaper than everything except flying. Trains are quite expensive (for sleepers), and RV rentals are even worse. For what that would cost, I'd be better off buying the RV and selling it when I get home! I guess we'll see.....

Bummer, buddy! Hope you get back up and going soon!

Ditto. -
I mentioned to my wife that next year was in Omaha, and she was actually kind of interested!! She didn't want to go to Vegas, but she wants to go to Omaha? Go figure. I will never truly understand her, and I have quit trying. At any rate, that might actually be a possibility, depending on what we do for our 25th next spring. We were actually thinking about renting an RV and doing the old fashioned road trip, so maybe we just put it off until late July......

I don't think Harv meant they are going OOB, just having a sale on some discontinued items.
