  1. beautiful work. amazing the difference swapping out backgrounds.
  2. Good stuff Ralph. Dang you are on a roll...
  3. love this. great idea Jim. I am in on this one!
  4. watching this Erik. this version is on its way and I have a feeling it may go right to the bench.
  5. very nice! love the "wood work"!
  6. Most likely I will pass this year. Usually get selection (with a few guys from local IPMS club) to >USD$500 then the 50% discount and free shipping kicks in. But man, anything I would want is out of stock and has been for quite some time. I cannot even build a wish list.
  7. SPAD XIII Nieuport 27 (think Greek)
  8. Not in stock at Fly Models. Will have in stock by 24 Nov.
  9. Great review Jim. Sigh! I just spent money as I have a feeling this could be Out Of Stock soon.
  10. Started browsing around for the upcoming Black Friday sale on the Squadron website. I'm looking mostly for consumables and some EZ kits for my kids. The Trumpeter 1/32 inventory is very depleted. Out of about 90 1/32 kits less than 10% is in stock. Most Trumpeter1/32 items have been Out Of Stock for a long time. Tamiya fairs much better with a total of 12 kits in 1/32 only 2 Out Of Stock. I hope this is not a downward trend with Squadron.
  11. Splended review Jeroen. Do335, Ho229, Mossie, Tempest II now Ar234. Yikes! stop it! Yes, good times for 1:32. Not good for my cash flow and supply chain (stash) management.
  12. nice digs!
  13. A few Spit Mk.IX's provide escort for a to a bench near you. Hopefully yours maybe mine.
  14. A little Alclad then image credit DoogsATX I love Alclad, it works really well for me. Problem is every flaw shows on a NMF. That said a few sink marks I thought I took care of appeared. So out with the Mr. Putty and some future sanding, priming and painting. Barely visible is a sink mark running along the leading edge of the landing flap also to right of gun access panel. Sigh! The fin fillet is dry fitted and may have a a revisit to the paint shop. Will reserve that action after all paint is on.
  15. in my stash. a long way from hitting my bench though....
  16. welcome to LSM. nice work on this Spit. Look forward to see more
  17. sigh! Start thinning my stash again!
  18. Another EagleCal winner! Thanks for the alert Judy.
  19. great review. got my copy as soon as released. great companion to my Smith/Creek volumes.
  20. I snagged a few 109 conversion sets yesterday with assumption it's adios A2Zee.
  21. finally mined this thread. really exceptional work!
  22. Thanks Jonathan! Having fun with this one. Thanks and stay tuned. Thanks Mike. Riveting an entire a/c is beyond my current skill-sets. A future endeavor. Albeit, not any time soon. The M10's were a complete joy to build. Never scratch built anything to this degree before. A great learning curve gain.
  23. agree with Cees. You scratch-build guys take modelling to a level of engineering I can only imagine.
