  1. Looking real Nice Mike.
  2. It's Floquils "Reefer Orange" been out of production for 20+ years.Floquils paint could be sprayed straight from the bottle and came in a 2oz bottle I have enough to do one more 1/48.I have a Aichi M6A done up in the same scheme if I remember right was testing stage.
  3. The fit does look good Harv keep it rolling.
  4. Well what about the incline/decline?Inquiring minds want to know and more pics.🤪
  5. The Ki-9 is coming along Nicely the upper wing is being a little fiddly but decided to super glue the middle Tamy on the L/wing,slide in the R/side strut and Tamy that one.The rigging is simple what they show not real but I will play just substituting thinner wire I have for a guitar. She purty. yes I touched up the pit got unlazy😋
  6. That's the way my buddy down the street looks at it.He builds wooden boats from scratch now and quite a few by commission.
  7. I was lucky Harv the Wife said I needed a shop(she hated me AB in the house) and gave the green light after Katrina I started building took me 3 years total by myself.
  8. Nice Vision because it looks excellent to my eyes.
  9. it's getting cold Fran
  10. It's looking good and like you said 50/50 on the braid but I am looking at a zoomed pic a model on the shelf with eyeballs only might be juusst the trick.I like your rifle went looking at some... sheess... none really to had and some kinda pricey.
  11. Heaters Man! Heaters!! you plug it into the wall
  12. Sir don't you usually do Dio's with these helo's?If so could a ground crew be pulling back a section?otherwise you have a pic you build for accuracy.I wish I had some of you guys patience me I like to glue.
  13. John while I like the kit that wing area around the barrels was a bit of fuss factor.
  14. I think the Mk22/24 is the best looking Spitfire that ever came out and a new one hell without an engine but nice mouldings and pit would be on the list maybe 2/3 so many Nice schemes down to NMF. The US, believe it or not, is one of the smallest model markets in the world. I can believe that Ernie it's got to move under it's own power RC in our market. We here in the US have seen our LHS go from models for 50/60% of the shop down to 25/30%.I went to one HS in Pensacola maybe 20+ years ago run by I think ex Navy guy it was a frigg'in warehouse I walked with some kits.I went back 5/7 years later closed their doors....... internet. We had a real Nice LHS his format changed with the advent of RC but kept a fun model section Joe passed Nancy tried to run it.The shop changed hands two more times I kept buying kits I did not need really to support...........
  15. Well Carl when I built my case it was about $200 Oak and about $400 glass now that's S. of the border to You.I would think for 1/32 heavies you are looking at maybe 24/26" D and still at an angle on there placement inside. The Falcon is coming along Nicely I bought a few months back a 1/72 X-wing(?).
  16. The Knight sits idle but the KI-9 is moving got a little paint in the pit doing touch-ups so be it once it hits the case it's all Mine! Peter asked for updates............. By the way the color is Floquils Reefer Orange I bought some 20+ years ago when paint was good still got enough to do atleast one more 1/48.
  17. Seams look a beauty Peter you're in the home stretch.
  18. I'm in Harv the Med/PTO are of great interest in the last couple of years.
  19. I said Quinta going by the belts looking good regardless John
  20. Actually a few more John theirs another whole row on the far r/side covered or less silver showing,The pit has that Quinta touch
  21. I spy 29 planes on the deck just there.
  22. What's not to like John? Now that you seem to crank out 2/3 planes a month in 1/32 scale I will have to assume you eat sleep and cook in one room and the rest of the house is storage??
