That's a Hase with the Verlinden kit added probably built faster than the ZM with less headaches and cheaper. That was the days I enjoyed all that still do some but just to many kits unbuilt. -

This one is finished and ready for the show.I went a very light rust for a ship probably could of gone lighter seeing I did nothing with the deck area but it was to be a clean build but once men hit the decks that changed. FYI when I over did the rust I used those rubber brushes to remove it it worked frigg'in excellent!! -
That sounds good Ernie I was going to say some abusive stuff about some members Peter ,Rob,Gary.Carl ........but figure I just lay back.I still like to play like I am still 20 sometimes life is to short not to have some fun.

KevinM replied to JohnB's topic in LSM 1/32 and Larger Aircraft Ready for Inspection
That really came out Nice John and who could hate a B/C model! -
I watched your "American Beauty" using the Revell P-51 short sweet good tempo on the music.I have to say your decals were way better than what Trumpter provided and more accurate! The only thing in that build was I could not tell the yellow on the wings to your yellow chromate all the YC I have ever seen or used has a ever slight green/dark tinge to it.I think other than that really a Nice Build oh try some Quintas Studios stuff it brings the pit to life.I am in to watch some more on YT.

I have another Inland on a Springfield forged receiver built up by Jerry Kuhnhausen with a pot belly stock and round bolt I pick up for $750 5/7 years ago it's a frigg'in tack driver.I bought it at his estate auction and these were probably his low end rifles family and high collectors got the others in private sale/transfer and I guess there was a minimum of 500 weapons for sale.He led a very quiet life but was one of the foremost Colt .45 guys in the nation and trained fellas to go work throughout the industry. Some of his books...... https://www.amazon.com/Jerry-Kuhnhausen/e/B00J05B82U%3Fref=dbs_a_mng_rwt_scns_share

So,this is were I am at the rigging is completed I tried quite a few times to get a sagging line that is not hard getting two next to each other do the same thing.I finally in the end went a taut line though one or two are to taut that area out front of the SS was a little of a PIA till I just backed off an maybe try Mike's idea about some sprue for curved line on Mogami.I knocked off some planes that need to be reattached and the decals for the stern with some touchups in paint.I have done better rigging but they were on smaller ships but it seems the Graf Spee came out quite Nice. -
Watched the first few minutes and subscribed to see how the channel is.I like to watch model channels and "What's My Line?" that show cracks me up with it's dry humor.đ

I found it.........https://www.jurawhisky.com/us/all-whisky/signature-series/12-year-old/ Jura From Islay, you can gaze east and see Jura. It feels like just a quick swim away. The small island is relatively wild and scarcely populatedâfewer than 200 people live here. The islandâs single road leads to its namesake distillery, the islandâs only pub and one hotel. Author George Orwell once called the island âthe most un-get-at-able place.â He wrote his dystopian novel 1984 while he lived in a farmhouse amid this idyllic backdrop. In the late 1950s, two landowners, dismayed at the islandâs declining population, hired William DelmĂ©-Evans to build a whisky distillery. He went to extreme lengths to ship in unusually tall stills, which are believed to produce a lighter distillate. According to Graham Logan, distiller manager for Jura, working within Scotlandâs smallest distilling island community helps to make the whisky unique. Photo by Dan Kenyon âThe reality is that living on a remote island, in a small community of about 180 people, means everyone has to work together,â says Logan. He would know: Logan worked more than two decades alongside former distillery manager Willie Cochrane, a beloved figure who retired in 2016 after a 39-year career. Logan started out 25 years ago, when he manned the stills and mash tubs, and worked his way up to distillery manager. When he first set eyes on Jura, Logan was aboard the HMS Liverpool during his time as a marine engineering mechanic in the Royal Navy. Little did he know that his father had accepted a job on Jura, and that heâd soon call it home. âFor two centuries, whisky has been our only major export, and the distillery is the main driver of tourism,â he says. âIt takes more than barley, water and yeast to make Jura 10. It takes an island.â Try This Jura 10 Year Old; $55. The distilleryâs newest bottling is an easy-drinking dram. Time in former Bourbon and oloroso Sherry barrels means that lip-smacking hazelnut, coffee and cocoa take a starring role, and it all finishes with just a mild puff of smoke.
