I'd back up Carl's comment about the PWMP tail. I also found it easier to splice it onto the kit part rather than using the entire resin piece. It's easily done and gives a nice result. I'm not sure how JP van Regenmortel operates now, I think I emailed him directly back when I ordered mine.

That is an art. I always marvel at the huge copper stills at the distilleries over here - always unique and just so beautifully made. Have seen a house up in the NW Highlands where a couple of old ones have been turned into bedrooms!!

I used to do a lot of skiing when I still had cartilage in my knees and there was a great hotel up Glenshee called the Blackwater Inn which had a landlord who was from Kentucky. How the hell he ended up there I've no recollection, but it did have a great selection of Bourbons, so we sampled quite a few! Don't remember all of them but I remember Rebel Yell, Jim Beam, Wild Turkey and Makers Mark. Generally not a huge fan of whisk(e)y which isn't Scottish but they were all decent (honourable mentions for Suntory and Bushmills), so Ernie I kinda forgive you!

SACRILEGE!! Although not the best whisky out there, that's still a very nice drop there. It's not known as 'water of life' for nothing. Say that in Scotland and you'll deported asap.

I hope the airline industry recovers fast enough for you. My brother worked for FlyBe over here and they went down right at the start. He's lucky in that he picked up a supermarket job very quickly and is at least bringing some cash in.

Very cool video Dale. Your pupil seems to have a very good rapport with the bass player and the singer is also very good. Hope they have a bit of success and lots of fun with it.

It's a really interesting area as no-one has a true handle on the number of asymptomatic people in their population. Singapore and South Korea probably did the highest proportion of the trace and test paradigm and it seems to have worked for South Korea but Singapore are now implementing a form of lockdown. There certainly does seem to be a correlation between testing and quota as Germany probably has the most effective testing set up in Europe currently due to their huge diagnostics industry and they have a seemingly low death rate compared to other adjacent countries as they're testing a lot more of the mild and asymptomatic cases. As Rob says it's only really after the fact when you can look at the excess deaths, etc that the true patterns and stories emerge. A big one is how many are dying of Covid compared to those dying with Covid ie in how many is it the primary cause of death rather than just speeding things up slightly. Anyway, hope all here keep safe and well.

The videos on their website certainly seem to show them sagging very realistically - the resin is very soft. They also supply an asymmetric 'bulge' on the hub which can be sanded or trimmed to give a desired degree of sag. They certainly look very nice but they don't yet have a product for anything in my stash, although they do seem to be producing new stuff pretty quickly.

Those 'ghost' roundels are great. A really neat touch that just enhances the realism.

Don't think I've used the kit wheels on any aircraft kit I built since returning to the hobby, even the Tamiya Spitfire, F-15 and F-16! As you say there are so many other options now. Personally I'm really intrigued by those 'soft' resin wheels from Halberd Models so I'd love to hear from anyone who's tried them out. They've been mentioned over TOS but as has been highlighted here, there aren't many over there who's opinions I'd trust to be unbiased!

Nice Harv. I've seen plumbers use these in 'real life' scale to bend copper pipe but never seen them for modelling. $5 seems a bit of a steal.

Thanks Phil. Most of it is now primed in Ammo Brown Oxide primer as a base for the rust but our spare room where I work is now full of 'junk' with the kids returning unexpectedly early from Uni! May be a bit before I can make some progress.
