  1. Lovely job Ernie. The seatbelts do look pretty good for PE. I truly hate PE belts especially for jets but no-one seems to do the paper type for anything much post WWII
  2. Nice little tutorial Tom. Easy way to do it without them becoming too heavy.
  3. Probably won't be a problem Carl and it saves a lot of cursing. I used masks for the fin flash on my MkXVIe and they were a pain in the ass to get aligned correctly. The 'spare' bit hanging over the front edge stuck to other things, the other side and me!! My wife wasn't impressed by the vocabulary.
  4. All that scratch work looks great under a coat of green Cees. Glad the move went well. There's a lot of confusion over here as to whether you can move or not under the current restrictions.
  5. Just came out late last year I think Smitty. Decent reviews so far.
  6. I'd go Mirage 2000D Tamiya F4U-1A to be done as a FAA bird RFM Firefly to be done as used by the Fife & Forfar Yeomanry. That'll do as l have enough other things to get finished as it is!
  7. That's a decent size. I have the Mjalso cabinet which is about 18" deep inside and a 1/32 F-15C fits okay at a slight angle, so plenty big enough unless you like building Clunkmeister size!
  8. Looks pretty nice for a first try. Kudos
  9. Hi Rob That's a ridiculous difference! It almost looks like a 48th & 32nd comparison. Looks like your option 3 may be the best if you can get delivery.
  10. Only built a couple of those Dale but the JS2 is pretty straightforward.
  11. Nice, Not a Harley model I've ever seen over here.
  12. Nice bike!! Custom job??
  13. Have a good day Hubert.
  14. My hospital department is diagnostic imaging based and we've basically cancelled everything that isn't cancer based or urgent in-patient work. It's work at home where you can and minimal contact otherwise. There has been talk of redeploying people but they haven't approached us as yet. As a physicist my skill set isn't immediately transferable but I'm willing to push trolleys, drive deliveries, whatever's needed. Our problem with working at home is that the IT restrictions on accessing anything from home is extremely tight for data protection, patient confidentiality, etc, so it's mainly emails and committee stuff that can be done.
  15. Stunning work again Peter. Very ingenious touch to get the crimped edge.... another idea to try and store in the old noggin in case it's ever needed.
  16. Neat, simple idea Steve but an obvious way to help. Amazing how sometimes the simplest ideas help the most.
  17. Great job Dale. Really nice realistic weathering. Glad you managed to get the aerial rigged.
  18. Great result Steve. Doesn't seem to have been as much work as it looked like it might be. I can't imagine that working with decals over that area is a piece of cake either, so probably just as much work for a 'nicer' result.
  19. Amazing work on the interior. Seat looks like a deck chair which is what you'd expect. These were definitely built for function not comfort!
  20. Have a great day Danny.
  21. Very nice. Admire anyone who can rig these.
  22. Might keep a few of our smaller airports from going under! We've lost one of the biggest regional carrier airlines in Europe already which put my brother out of a job. That and other cancellations are having knock ons with ground crew being laid off etc, so a few extra bums on seats transiting to the US may help.
  23. As an NHS worker we're relatively well prepared here but I work in an imaging area where we're unlikely to have direct contact with patients, so we're just using the standard precautions. The media are certainly over-hyping this here and it's difficult to see why people are panic buying things like loo roll! Statistically it's very difficult to calculate the morbidity and mortality of this as you need to know the infection rate and this is a total unknown in most cases, all we know is how many have tested positive but how many are asymptomatic in the general population?? Even the Chinese don't have an accurate handle on total exposure figures.
  24. Nice work Gaz, love the weathering on the bottom of the upper armour. Always think these look like they're missing the last road wheel!
