All the snow ploughs in Scotland are GPS equipped and trackable on a website or app. They even held a poll to get kids to suggest names for them all. So we have Sir Andy Flurry, Gritty Gritty Bang Bang, Luke Snowalker, Gritty Gonzalez, etc!

Stay positive Carl. Bypass surgery is 'no walk in the park' but at the same time it's also 'no big deal' nowadays, if that makes sense. We see many post-op patients at work and the vast majority thrive afterwards. The rehab can be tedious but if you keep it up the results are worthwhile. A pretty young physio always helps!

Think it's all been said above Ernie but don't fret about it and just do what feels 'right'. If that's American Woman as loud as you can, good on ya.

Sorry to hear that Carl and I hope they get it resolved quickly. Hopefully anything will be 'stentable' during the angio. Don't know about over there but here they do most angios now via the arteries in the wrist rather than the groin and it's a whole lot better. Stay strong!

I'd jump for that as well Ernie, such cool lines. It'd be interesting to see how you'd get enough weight in that 'itsy bitsy' nose to keep the tail up. Nice big resin cockpit would help especially with that nice big greenhouse.

Meant to add that I wish someone would produce a decent 1/32 Sea Harrier and Etendard so I could do something from the Falklands.

Similar to crazypoet for me, it's often the story. Examples on here include the Syrian Mig-23 and the Israeli F-15C which shot it down over the Bekaa valley during Operation Mole Cricket 19 back in 1982. That one stuck in my head as it was just after the end of the Falkland's conflict and I was in my mid-teens and airplane daft. I'll also build stuff where I think the painting or weathering will challenge my skills and introduce new techniques and (hopefully) improve my abilities. Examples here include the Tamiya Spitfire MkXVIe and the current Greek A-7E as most of them look like they've been rescued from the scrap heap. Haven't built much armour since I returned to the hobby, and none since I got an airbrush, so the M911 C-HET I just started is another 'challenge'.

There's an Aussie themed bar near us that serves VB and I get where you're coming from Rog. Not the pleasantest beverage I've ever consumed and Scotland is the home of Tennent's lager- the nastiest alcopop on the planet. You can clean yer drains with that stuff!

Great picture Antonio. The yellow on the fuselage roundel is so faded out it's almost cream coloured!

Seems like a good choice Cees as they'll be pretty hard to spot once everything is painted up. Drilling everything out looks great as well.

My vote is for the XVI as well but with the cropped wingtips. Don't know why but the bubbletop and straight wingtips just look so purposeful. Have already built the Tamiya 32nd scale one. It's a great kit but the engine covers and firewall attachment I find overly fussy for a kit that is supposed to be the dogs doodahs according to most reviews.

Initially misread that as Pete the Porn Inspector!! Not quite sure the scheme for that would have been!?!
