  1. Hi James, Yes it is, and so is the Fokker E.III. Cheers, Jeroen
  2. Hi guys, Just came back from another great edition of the dutch Scale Model Challenge. I went there with Cees and stumbled on Erik, Huub and Jeroen Veen. Here's a pic taken by Jeroen Veen's lovely partner: (left to right: Cees, Jeroen Veen, Huub, Jeroen (me) and Erik.) Jeroen Veen, Huub and Erik were judges in the competition area. This was the first time i ever saw judges using permanent red marker on the models to point out flaws... Very disturbing. This is just a pic of a german car i wanted to share. Pretty Dumb hm? Jay Laverty showing us how to apply a wash. This was right before Cees called him a Moron. We are dutch. So when you tell us to put more on, we can get confused... Jose Pinto doing a demo: 1/16 T-38: Great way of sneaking a braille scale under the radar: Amazing work by Marcel du Long: Really cool Belgian scheme by Jan Goormans: And to top it all off I met with Maciej from Kagero books. Really nice guy. He gave 5 new Kagero books to the LSM staff to review. (I promise the review will feature better pics):
  3. Nice progress.. Great detail out of the box. Cheers! Jeroen
  4. Ehhh.... hello! Wow... That's amazing. You must have been keeping this quiet for some time! Great stuff. I'm following.
  5. Hi Erik, Yes. I believe (from memory) there are only cables connected from the control column to the underside of the wings. No cables run upwards. The cables on top (running over the small wheel) provide the opposing forces. Now stop drawing! and build..
  6. Now i know why you never finish anything. You draw them first! Geeeeeezzzz..
  7. Just blown away at the quality you put into this model. Dare i ask what's next? Cheers, Jeroen
  8. Wow! So now i know where these weld beads come from i saw in a finished build. Amazing stuff. Clean and crisp. Great review. Cheers, Jeroen
  9. Yes! That 'Do not turn' is just too cool. Love it! Are you going to flatten the tires a little?? Cheers, Jeroen
  10. Thnx guys, I have an amazing figure as is, but I'm always open to suggestions!
  11. Nope. Parking it under the wing of the Snipe. I can see it now... Aaaaahhhh...
  12. Cees, If the kit disappoints, I'm taking you out for Indian!
  13. Thnx Grant, Just finished the stand. I broke the resin one, so I fixed it with plastic rod. Also made some holes for the hinges, so it can actually fold in and out. Lets see how long it takes me to break this one...
  14. Hi Dave, You're right, but the fit is soo good, you can insert the spoke disc. position and then glue. Here's the front wheel with the same copper tube axle. As soon as i glue the front fork to the frame the main components are done. Then it's on to smaller irrelevant details like the steering handles
  15. I'm sure I haven't asked already, but what scheme are you doing?
  16. Hi there, I'm guessing you're missing the anti slip surface. I would mask the areas off.The use mr surfacer and use a stump brush and tampon the texture in. That's the way. Cheers, Jeroen
  17. Yup! I love indian food and don't mind the Burning Ring of Fire the day after. Just checked: my 163 has shipped! Bring it to papa!
  18. THis looks promising indeed! Mk108 baby! (I ordered one too)
  19. Thnx Guys, I must say it's photo's like this: and this: that really do it for me... May mean I need to get the resin Verlinden shells too....
  20. Thats cool Grant!
  21. Wow! That's really nice. Another Need-to-have for the already amazing WnW kit...
  22. I'll have an Ohka instead. Will look nice next to my Reichenberg!
  23. That looks great. Are those weld beads on the model?? Or did you make them yourself? Cheers, Jeroen
  24. Hi Nick, You are right. I have only on a few occasions seen well weathered and painted 1/16 vehicles. Fun for remote control sandbox games, and oversized to display in a nice way. I'll give it my best!
