Sweet, smooth and sleek. As always!

I'm not sure what it is but this model is addictive and yet bad for progress. Quite slow building. Researching. Mediocre fit. The Eduard masks are incomplete. Luckily i also have the monte window masks. I prefer the Eduard Kabuki, but am settling in some places for the montex masks, since they include the inside window masks, Especially inside the glass nose dome masking inside is a must.

I have this kit in my stash. Gotta love those lines...

Cheers guys! Here's the only real fix that needs to be performed on this kit. The area behind the gondola. It's rounded, but should be flattened and merge with the flat window behind the gondola. Member Florin pointed me to a good tip on this fix: add some plastic card to the inside of the fuselage where you will do your sanding, since you WILL go through otherwise.

You're definitely taking the high road by keeping those bomb doors open. I can imagine it being difficult to keep the strips perfectly straight...

Lovely Stuff! What a sweet little plane. One of the few interbelluw / early war luftwaffe subjects that tempts me. Along with the He51.

It sucks and i know the feeling. I've binned some pretty 100 euro + kits in the past. Hope you'll be happy with the result in the end!!

Dang! Haven't touched the Hawk myself. Have however seen finely built examples of them. The He111 I'm building now is fighting me with weird fit issues, missing locating tabs here and there and downright strange engineering. So: Can you fix it? Or is she a lost cause?

Looks great! And yes i agree: painting the markings is often easier than getting a decal on properly...

And the wings are on! I want to wait with riveting until I have gotten rid of all the seams and smoothened the fucker out. I learned this from my Ju88 build....
