Dang! Haven't touched the Hawk myself. Have however seen finely built examples of them. The He111 I'm building now is fighting me with weird fit issues, missing locating tabs here and there and downright strange engineering. So: Can you fix it? Or is she a lost cause?

Looks great! And yes i agree: painting the markings is often easier than getting a decal on properly...

And the wings are on! I want to wait with riveting until I have gotten rid of all the seams and smoothened the fucker out. I learned this from my Ju88 build....

Slowly but surely things are taking shapes. Made some plastic card shims to close some minor gaps on the rear cowling parts. The oil coolers are on. Don't try to blend them in, since a small step is supposed to be there. I expected the cowlings to give me a bigger fight. Also putting together the bomb racks. No Eduard here, since I'm keeping the windows in this section closed.

Thats one pretty big 3d printer! When people say 3d printing is kinda taking the easy route I can tell them wrong. In many cases it's easier to make something form plastic card! Love what you're doing here.

Cool kit! I wonder in what areas windmills like these would be found. It looks russian. It doesn't look like the type we have here in the Netherlands. What do you think?

OK. As described my many, the fitting of the engines to the wings is awkward to say the least. Lots of patience and dry fitting is needed to get a perfect fit. Almost there. Then some small filling, sanding, describing and then..... riveting!
