BlrwestSiR Posted January 22, 2021 Posted January 22, 2021 Very nice work Mark. Great work on the carbon decals. As for pet hair, we've got a Calico cat, an orange cat and a border collie. So doesn't matter what colour you're painting, something will show up. 1 3

Mark got it pretty much spot on. Their most recent F1 cars are from the early to mid '90s. The most recent kit in 1/12 is the Carrera GT. It's a significant step up from the older 934 and 935 which both were reissued last year. They're still nice kits and have better fit/detail than the Stratos I'm working on. The Caterham Super 7 was also recently reissued. That kit builds almost like the actual car with aluminum body panels. I'm not sure on the UK pricing but the 934/935 kits can be had here in Canada for around 200 Loonies (Canadian dollars) so good value for what you get in my opinion. The GT is usually double that or more. Same with the Caterham. If you don't mind 1/20, there are far more recent kits available along with AM detail sets if you want to go crazy in that regard.
