Martinnfb
I know Harvey, but this is multimedia short run kit. True , instructions could be better, however You have to learn the subject, that's exactly the reason why I am posting pictures of the real stuff everywhere I go, so you guys have some inspiration and most of all, references . Look at Sharky, he's following his references with a maniacal obsession. Once you possess sufficient knowledge of the subject, instruction are not necessary. On October 4th I posted link containing this picture. http://www.grubby-fingers-aircraft-illustration.com/images/Wessex_N7-216_12_med.jpg 3

harv
Tackling the nose. This was cut free and will be lifted in display. As you can tell, needs sanding and a little cutting to fit right...harv
Martinnfb
My two favourite tools come to mind, an orbital sander and blow torch Sucks that you gonna loose lots of that fine surface detail, well it's a good fight Harvey. 2

I haven't been able to sit at my bench the last few days due to my back. Hopefully I'll be back at it soon enough. Carl

Kaireckstadt
Nice progress Harv! There is a lot of rework necessary to make everything fit. But you manage perfectly! 3
DocRob
Ouch, these Fly kits, they throw some italeriesque fittings at you, but soften the impact with their sweet resin. Cheers Rob

Carl Carl Hope you back pains ease up allowing to to be able to walk and sit without pain. Been there many times in the past (thank g,oodness) and it’s no fun for sure. Rest and stay off, your feet - plenty of time for being at the bench when you feel much better. Keep ‘em comin Peter
Peterpools
Harv It’s a fight for sure but take your time, go slow and no question, you will work your way though the kit and wind up with a gem. Keep ‘em colmin Peter 2

Martinnfb
Harvey , did you check if the rest of the fuselage will mate with the nose despite the upper nose gap. It can be tricky business, down the road, to fit it in, if the clear parts stick out. Not trying to bug you, just wondering about the overall layout. 2
Peterpools
Harv Nice work on getting the resin to mate up to the plastic. Agree with martin on checking the overall fit as I've been there and had all sorts of issues down the road. Keep 'em comin Peter 2
harv
Thanks for asking Martin. The nose will be open (lifted up) so I don't thing it will be a big deal. At least that's what I'm hoping for.....harv 3
