I'm really excited, there is a new tool Sea King announced by Airfix in 48 scale. My favorite heli seems to receive an appropriate scale version. I like the idea by Airfix, that the same airframe is depicted in four different liveries over the service decades, the last, being a civilian scheme.

The Modelling News: Return of the King - Arifix' new 48th scale Sea King HAS.1/HAS.5/HU.5

Cheers Rob

Right with you - watched a video by Airfix on the kit and it does look mighty good.

Andy's Hobby Headquarters has just announced a 1/16 M10 and Achilles tank destroyers. They're coming out in October for $149.99 each.

They just got posted to my LHS so I broke down and pre-ordered the Achilles.

Saw Andy's You-Tube announcement ... not my cuppa, but glad to see more choices in 16th scale ... He's selling them at reasonable prices too!

Based on other published photos of the Border spitfire, it’s a very hard pass for me. From an accuracy angle it seems to gather all of the worst parts of both the 1/24 Trumpeter and 1/32 Hobby Boss kits including cockpit floor that shouldn’t be there, the fabric effect on top of the tailplane and the noticeably-too-fat spine and canopy. ☹️

No doubt Kotare will be along shortly with a Vb, Vb Trop and various others in the common scale ... They'll probably be off down the Griffon road before too long also!

Italeri's 1/12th scale Lancia Delta 16V San Remo 1989…….. this pushes the right buttons for something different….

Now I'm torn between this and the original release in the white Martini scheme. Please they've announced a 1/12 Stratos which will be a must buy.

Thanks Carl for the link - just back from seeing what is new and translate works fine.  Pretty thin for 32nd scale but the bright spot was on the Volks display: the ZM 190. Tamiya's 1/48 F-35B looked mighty good and Fine Molds had some new 1/72nd scale kits. Yup, the hobby certainly is changing in the direction of interest of the newer modeler these days.

The All Japan Hobby Show is on and Tamiya have shown their new F-35B in 1/48. It's not a re-box of the Italeri kit.

My LHS has it up for pre-order for $135 CAD so probably around $100 USD.

Tamiya had one yesterday for Display at Orange Con in Ca.
