That's a great idea Tim. I miss familiar faces, face to face interaction is absolutely priceless.

Thank you guys for sharing the photos , the quality of the builds is impressive.

I missed the Nats this year.

why?

Because I thought it would be a cool idea to stick a screwdriver in my ass.    I said IN my ass, not UP my ass, an unfortunate oversight also missed by the ER nurse and attending physician, both of whom started laughing uncontrollably.
But after I caught on, I turned around, presented them the screwdriver handle sticking out of my left cheek and said “see it’s a screwdriver IN my ass, not GI Joe or Ken AND Barbie UP my ass, they piped down.

so I spent a few days laying on my anterior side, popping pills.

Sorry I missed yall, I heard it was one hell of a show!

I think next year in Virginia, we should reserve a table specifically to promote LSM, and maybe LSP, too, since many of us are members of both. That way, there is a place for members to connect so no one gets missed. I have not decided yet if I can go, but I'd sure like to.

I’m open to doing both at one table. Many here do belong to both, and as long as we all receive equal billing, I think it can only benefit us in general.
Those builds are awesome!  You see two quality vac builds in one place, I sit up and notice.

I’m not here to judge, but to commiserate: I know what it’s like Ernie. As we grow older, eye / hand coordination becomes a lot tougher, alas 🥴!

Hubert, the stabbing-in-the-back friend 😇 !

Sorry I missed you too Ernie.

I am glad the screwdriver missed anything critical though.

Closest I come to that is watching an Xacto slowly roll off the bench and land in my foot. Which I'm sure has happened to others on here.

Jeez Ernie, there's easier ways to pull a sicky than that.

Seriously, I hope everything is healing well and no infection.

I would ask if it was a flat head or a Phillips but once it's embedded I think that's pretty irrelevant. 😬

That’s quite an extreme way of hitting on a hot nurse.  :)

I prefer a wet nurse, but hey, I’m a bit of a rancher, so calves and all…

Too...

... information!!!!!

A “wet nurse” is bottle feeding a calf.

Get your minds out of the sewers and back into the gutters where they belong!

The people I hang out with!  Sheesh!

I’m shocked I tell you, SHOCKED!

To those that are going to the 2025 convention how about doing a group build. Any ideas?

I’d be open to it. Something that includes armor would be smart.

Tim, That would be cool.  I have a 1/24 F-104, but also the Airfix Spitfire kit from the holiday raffle... And a LOT of time to get it done.  Plus, for me it's a drive so no worries about flying with it.
