JohnB
As this will be my 2nd of their P-51A's and a A-36 I'm a bit ahead of the game in knowing what to expect and modify. As I will be using the outstanding Vector cockpit set on this build, as I did on the 1st "A" and the "36", the first thing to do is get rid of all the raised locator ridges, etc on the inside of the fuselage. That done I can now finish cleaning up the resin Vector parts and prepare for painting the inside, etc.

Administrators Clunkmeister Posted October 20, 2018 Administrators Share Posted October 20, 2018 No argument from me, John. The Vector cockpit is a real gem and worth every cent. The kit is a real sweetheart as well. I’m sure glad I bough several for cheap when they were getting no love whatsoever from the modeling community.

1to1scale
Can’t wait to see it, I scratchbuild all the detail when I built mine. I could not find the resin when I built mine.
HubertB
Methink that between a P-51 A and a P-47, you should choose a Tamiya Corsair, John ... Just my Hubert

Kais
Nice work John. Do you know whether I could use that 'pit for a B/C? At last I'd have to put a floor in, wouldn't I?

The Detail & Scale book on the early Mustangs would be a good place to begin. I'll take a look and see what's what.

Peterpools
John Nice work on the Vector Front Office - sure is looking mighty good. Any luck and I’ll finally be taking some photos of my Corsair cockpit tonight, as I’ve made enough progress to show the build is underway. Keep ‘em comin Peter

Find yourself some good photos and or diagrams and you should be good to go.
