harv Posted March 24, 2019 Author Posted March 24, 2019 Thinking about it. I am also considering a wing mount like on the Corsair. Thanks for checking in Danny..... harv 3
Guest DannyVM Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 Not my favourite subject but i like the way you tackle this flying pancake Harv. Keep them coming
harv Posted March 29, 2019 Author Posted March 29, 2019 Looking to start the2 seat pit. Wish me luck.....harv .....harv 4
harv Posted March 31, 2019 Author Posted March 31, 2019 The pit side pieces will need some TLC with some hot water or hair dryer. They both have a twist to them. Wish me luck....harv 3

harv Posted March 31, 2019 Author Posted March 31, 2019 Rob, the box kit fits very well. Have had no probs so far. The conversion kit, well not so much.......harv 4
harv Posted March 31, 2019 Author Posted March 31, 2019 The conversion comes with 2 vac canopies. Plain, no detail. I don't like them. But, I have a cunning plan to use the 2 pieces that come in the kit. I think I will do them so they open to the side like a 109. Wish me luck.....harv 5
harv Posted March 31, 2019 Author Posted March 31, 2019 Looks promising I think. Any comments ?....harv 2
BlrwestSiR Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 If you have them open, I think it'll work. I agree on the vac canopies lacking detail of any kind. Which is a real shame considering the detail of the base kit. Carl 3
harv Posted April 1, 2019 Author Posted April 1, 2019 Yes Carl, they will be open. I really think this will work. Two cuts, one about a quarter inch from the front of back piece and one where the "frosted" part starts.....harv 3
Martinnfb Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 I don't like to be overly negative, yet I have to say that , the more I see, the more I am questioning ZM approach on this conversion. It feels like old Matchbox . Too much effort and profanities will be invested that's for sure. Keep it up Harvey, the canopy idea is smart way of problem-solving . M. 2
harv Posted April 1, 2019 Author Posted April 1, 2019 I agree Martin. Its a good kit, but the conversion could of been better in my opinion. Especially the canopies. Thanks for supporting me buddy.....harv 1

I wish ZM would of done it in a injection molding Two seat boxing like DML / Dragon did. 2
harv Posted April 1, 2019 Author Posted April 1, 2019 Actually Danny I am considering it still. Sides and a floor make sense. But I need to see how mu h clearance I'll have with nose part....harv 2
