After painting the prop blades and spinners, I realized I'd used the wrong colour. I'd used RLM 66 instead of 70 so I repainted them. At the same time, I did the front parts in white. 5

Unfortunately these broke apart a bit upon removal from their pour stubs. I almost went and ordered some REXx metal ones but decided I had these on hand and might as well make a go of them. 4
BlrwestSiR Posted February 17, 2019 Author Posted February 17, 2019 Lastly, I installed the underwing rad fairings and MLG legs. There's a small strut- N5 that goes in the front of the fairing that's not on the instructions so make sure you don't forget it. Carl 5

I did the wheelbays the wrong colour too and had to fix those as well. Glad it's sorted though. 1

As for Harv selling his with the AiMs G-4 conversion, it's not an easy one so I can't blame him there. I've got the same one in the stash still and it's daunting. Cheers Rob Rob, I sometimes wonder the same thing. Actually I did end up with one of her hairs stuck in my clear coat so there was a quick touchup needed. 2

BlrwestSiR Posted February 24, 2019 Author Posted February 24, 2019 So although Dragon gives you the instrument panels for the nacelles, they're not really going to be visible. So I used the ones from Eduard on my PE set. I added a drop of clear UV gel to each dial to replicate the glass. Here they are installed on the nacelles. Next up, I installed the MLG doors and props. More cameos by our cat. This is something new for her. She's getting some impeccable timing. 4
