Can't wait to see the beast with tracks on. Your build and Carls remark reminded me, that there is a Churchill AVRE sleeping in my stash. Cheers Rob 7 1

Cheers Rob One set of tracks is actually on it now. still have a paint the road wheels tyres on the driver side ( right side) !!! That’s why the side armor and the blade or not on. The upper body are weathered also but not the hull. I have not built a piece of armor in a while so my weathering techniques are all off. But I had a build this immediately as it’s a kit that I wanted for 30 years. Might pick up another one and use parts from it and put it on a AFV club Mk.5. The Amusing Hobbies kit is a little simplified or soft on the tow cables, road wheels,Suspension, But it builds up and represents the vehicle surprisingly well. 8
BlrwestSiR Posted June 1, 2021 Posted June 1, 2021 Very nice. Did you replace the tow cables and if so, what did you use as they have a very convincing sag to them. 6

The tow cables are from the string in the kit. it’s comprised of like a black nylon. They were stiffer than the white stuff. Thank you all for the nice comments. 6

BlrwestSiR Posted June 4, 2021 Posted June 4, 2021 More progress on the bench. Got the wiring done thanks to the help of my neighbour. There's a new light over where the paint bench will go and another for the work bench itself. I just need to do the drywall tomorrow and I can start putting my bench back together. 10

The best part is the space was all previously boarded up so it's a bonus and lets us organize the rest of the basement better. I went ahead and worked on getting some of the drywall up tonight. There's just one piece left but it'll be the most challenging as I have to measure and cut out the spot for the switch and outlet. With the corner done, I hung the lights up as well. At this point, I put the bench back together. It just fit in the space. I've got a 1/2" on either side. With my Arttystation back in place. The rack of paints on the right side are the ones my boys use so those will now be on the bench instead of on the floor beside it. It's finally coming together. Carl 10 1
