I looked up peto after I saw that and got dozens of pictures of some naked male porn star...barf!!

When I put only 'Peto' in my browser, I don't get the fish, but no male either :D, how could that happen, smitty ?

If you browse for Peto fish or Peto pescado you get lots of pics and discription about naked fish. It's always about what you expect to find with that good ole internet.

When is comes to flavor on fins, to me...  This is the king!

These look great, what are they, a kind of trout?

We have these colorful ones in the Atlantic in great amounts here on the Canarian Islands. They are called Vieja (Old women) or Parrot fish in English, I believe. Can't imagine what smitty will make out of this name :D. They taste great, accompanied by a young dry white wine and look good while snorkeling.

Cheers Rob

They are Sockeye Salmon or Red Salmon.  The one with the hooked nose is the male.  They return to their birthplace to spawn and die after 5 years at sea.

Thanks and yes they are Ye Olde EZ line.

In the close ups you can see a ribbon effect, but in real life it's not to noticeable.

Thanks for the tips Ryan. I'll have to give it another try next time.

Well, they meet all three criteria of being large scale models.

They're also heavy too, being solid vinyl. They still a few small bits added and then time for paint. I wonder if I should do the T-Rex in a late WWII German ambush scheme? :D

The first 2 look like they are takin' a leak.

Fantastic detail on those.

Pegasus really did a great job on the sculpts and they each include a diorama base which might explain the odd stance.

The triceratops is supposed to be mid stride. The Spinosaurus is standing on top of a very large fish it's caught. Probably an ancient relative of those tuna that Smitty has gone fishin' for.

The T-Rex is standing on a baby triceratops.
