Looks right nice I might say. Your Kingfisher looks extremely good, love the painting and weathering. I wanted this kit so often, but failed to grab one, but one day... I have only these little fellas in my stash, which are a part of Eduards recent USS Arizona boxing in 1/350. 3D printing is clearly the new wow. If they turn out a tenth as good as yours, I will be satisfied . Cheers Rob 8 2

The only kit I know about is the Kitty Hawk kit, and I seem to remember a lot of Internet model experts telling the kit was absolutely unbuildable? 5

That Wessex is way beyond in comparison That the average modeler, or Super skilled modeler can achieve! ...I mean, that build is spooky in its excellence! How can you possibly be ashamed! Your work Is great!. I'd love to build a big Huey by the way. I know Hobby Boss has that big 1/18 Huey, but I'm still hoping for that big 1/18 Brewster Buffalo. One can hope....I mean won't they release that soon? Thanks for the compliment. Don't think it matters what hobby you have, there are always some who just seem to have other-worldly skills and Oliver it certainly one of those. 5
ScottsGT Posted March 26, 2022 Posted March 26, 2022 So now I have my semi-gloss black on my new bench. But wait! There’s more! What could this be? 9 1

BlrwestSiR Posted March 30, 2022 Posted March 30, 2022 Next to a B-24, a Lancaster actually looks kind of small... 9

Martinnfb Posted April 2, 2022 Author Posted April 2, 2022 6 hours. Could be more if it wasn’t for somebody suggesting new sci-fi shows to binge:) 2 2
BlrwestSiR Posted April 2, 2022 Posted April 2, 2022 I hope that means you're enjoying The Expanse. 3
Martinnfb Posted April 2, 2022 Author Posted April 2, 2022 I am on the third season, mainly because of Dominique Tipper's cute chin. 4
HubertB Posted April 2, 2022 Posted April 2, 2022 The Expanse is definitely one of the best sci-fi shows I have seen. Hubert 4
Martinnfb Posted April 2, 2022 Author Posted April 2, 2022 " The Expanse" it's a name of the Netflix sci-fi series. Very good acting, great CGI, not overboard effects, decent storyline with smooth overlap of the individual characters. Me likey 3
HubertB Posted April 2, 2022 Posted April 2, 2022 It’s actually an Amazon Prime show (at least in Europe) Martinn … Hubert 3 1
BlrwestSiR Posted April 2, 2022 Posted April 2, 2022 It was originally on Scy-Fy in the US and Space in Canada but was cancelled after the third season. The fans petitioned Bezos to have Amazon pick it up and he did. So season 4 onward were exclusively Amazon. The authors have had a say in the adaptation so it has stuck fairly close to the books. GusMac Posted April 2, 2022 Posted April 2, 2022 Got some bench time amongst family issues so got the Bronco Comet stuck together. Using the Aber barrel which is a big improvement. The click together tracks went together nicely although the instructions say you need 108 links each side but I reckon you only need 103?! Picture was taken this afternoon and everything is now primed with Mr Surfacer 1500 in grey. Still waiting for the Mantis Miniatures hessian netting and PanzerArt storage so I have something for the infantry to sit on! 8
Martinnfb Posted April 2, 2022 Author Posted April 2, 2022 Kitchen table again the metal parts are on, all what’s missing is machine guns and some plumbing. 8
BlrwestSiR Posted April 3, 2022 Posted April 3, 2022 How is the Comet? I keep looking at that kit ever since it came out. Carl 4

Carl Hi Carl, it's a nice kit and goes together well with options for all the main variants. A few injector pins but they are generally hidden once the parts are assembled. l quite like the plastic they use as well as it is hard but not brittle so cleans up nicely. l'd definitely recommend it. l got it off eBay for €30 so not a big hit to the wallet either. 4 1
