Ryan Posted March 19, 2019 Posted March 19, 2019 Yes that was a "do as I say, not do as I do moment". (at the hobby shop) The stash comment is funny, I have a couple for friends that I have brought into the hobby and now their wives scowl at me when they see me. "It's your fault he buys all these kits!" they remark. 4

GazzaS Posted March 21, 2019 Posted March 21, 2019 Very nice Smitty... One of these could easily take down an A-10 Warthog! ....by being sucked through it's engines! 4

DocRob Posted March 21, 2019 Posted March 21, 2019 I'm toying with this one since yesterday. Might be my new project. The kit is fantastic and will be added with some supplied and AM photoetch. In the moment I'm thinking about where to store the lightning equipment and how to install the LED's. Not exactly LS of M but worth the excursion Cheers Rob 8

DocRob Posted March 26, 2019 Posted March 26, 2019 You nailed it again. That to me is the Woodpecker of the day. I definitely have to try your method, if it is really so easy,... Cheers Rob 4

krow113 Posted March 31, 2019 Posted March 31, 2019 Looking at making a series of wood base' for models. Starting with a cedar panel , planed , shaped and a nice cobblestone pattern lasered into the top surface. I think this could be sealed and painted to suit as well as oiling or staining the cedar for a little bit nicer display: This pattern is 4" x 7" good for a 1/48 armor or.... Patterns in the works for airfields and other types of roads 5
