Thanks Phil, I don't think I could be without a dog or cat in our house. As for fur stuck in everything, I'm still it sure how I don't have more of it stuck in my paint jobs. 2
BlrwestSiR Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 It's technically my bench but definitely my son's model: Edward is using my Eclipse to paint his dino model with Model Air paint. He has fewer runs in it than I sometimes get. 11

DocRob Posted July 19, 2019 Posted July 19, 2019 Nice Martin, personally I don't like the mustard / spinach camo on Russian vehicles, but under a heavy coat of grime it works . Cheers Rob 3
Martinnfb Posted July 19, 2019 Author Posted July 19, 2019 Spinach is good for you Rob:). I didn't want play around and elaborate , this thing was assembled solely for the purpose of trying MIG product to see if it makes sense to replace the "old " techniques (chalk/ pastel, oil paint , pencils , graphite etc. It is the same in convenient packaging, well priced :), more less a smart marketing ploy. 6

Martin , you are an ARTIST!!!! If you flunk out of 'school' , you would still have a good career................... man that looks good, the exhaust is exquisite ! 3
Bomber_County Posted July 20, 2019 Posted July 20, 2019 Martin absolutely stunning, love the bare metal but not quite on the front mud guard / fender. This is all done with the AK pencils? 3
Martinnfb Posted July 20, 2019 Author Posted July 20, 2019 Hi Phil, I used AK pigment which is a fancy name for artistic chalk (powder) and AK wash, that is basically diluted paint, Then I used simple graphite retractable pencil. This kit is a test mule , therefore the true to reality aspect has been set aside and everything is overkilled . Next I am going to try dust effect. 4

Bill_S Posted July 23, 2019 Posted July 23, 2019 Pulling the Rex off the SOD; some finagling of the engine and cowling, but I finally got it all sorted out. 7
Martinnfb Posted July 23, 2019 Author Posted July 23, 2019 I like projects like that, the engine looks all business . Sweet ! 4

Ryan Posted July 29, 2019 Posted July 29, 2019 Nah I already built it. most is not seen, but I wanted to give the model heft and rigidness by leaving it in. fit was very well except for a couple areas. pics to follow. 5
