IPMS Nationals in Chattanooga

I'm going to be at the Center between 11:00 - 3:00 Wednesday, and 10:00 - 6:00 Saturday. Im considering working the door for them on Saturday.

Need to find some way to identify each-other... Secret handshake?  Specific color of shot-glass?  LSM Logo on our conference badges?

Ha!  Yep - first time to this conference.  I'm planning to be the worst possible combination of clueless tourist and kid in a candy store!

I still look like my profile pic.....hair a little longer and certainly grey!

Would be cool to have name tags..."Ryan from LSM" etc. and then wear them to the Sizzler afterwards....

I don’t look anything at all like my profile pic... 

but I’ll wear a tag with Crazypoet, LSM and one of the stunning LSM Signatures that have been posted over the years

I'm going to ATTEMPT to print off a dozen or so LSM logo name tags for the regular plastic name tag holders, so if y'all have your empty holders, please bring them.

Or, if someone else KNOWS they can print off LSM logo tags, please pipe up.

What is the dimension of said holders? Anyone have access to hi-res logo or maybe a vector?

I'll have to measure mine, but I'd say just the standard nametag holders where you slip the paper in between two pieces of flexible soft clear plastic and attach to your shirt with a safety pin on the back.  I'll look when I get home.

Do you know if they are going to have the usual lanyard and back stage pass type holder at the convention?

So I'm hoping we get more than a few of us together and make a real presence there. Depending on how far I get, my Lanc will either be display only or on the contest table. It looks like we'll have a few models coming, so this should be good.

I've built diddley squat over the last couple years. Come to thing of it, my last two completions were builds for Kitty Hawk....

I fully intend to have something for next year since it's only a couple hours away. I need to get this shat bucket Airfix 109 off my bench so I can start something else.

Other than my Lanc, the only models of mine on display will be the two I built for KH. Pretty sad for a guy who spends on average 2 hours per day at the bench.

I’ll have the Picket Boat there, at least by Friday noon-ish.  It’s sadly all I’ll have done.  

If we have enough Display Models between us, it’d be truly fun to have a table.

I will be bring 3 planes for display, 2 1/32nd scale & 1 48th scale.

Planning on entering 6 planes in the contest, 3 WNW kits, a F4U-1, Tempest & FW-190 D-9, all 1/32nd.
