harv Posted April 17, 2020 Author Posted April 17, 2020 Like I've said all along, this is a GIANT learning curve for me. Both terrifying and exciting at the same time.ill try the best I can Rob. And thanks....harv 3
harv Posted April 19, 2020 Author Posted April 19, 2020 Not to far off from paint ! Still some work to do first......harv 7
DocRob Posted April 19, 2020 Posted April 19, 2020 Awesome Harv, you have to love 1/16 scale, specially for a tiny tank like the FT. You can go wild with the detail. Cheers Rob 2 1
Bomber_County Posted April 19, 2020 Posted April 19, 2020 Looking good there Harv, never contemplated 1/16 because of the size, but this FT is stunning and relatively small.........looking forward to the paint.... 2 1
harv Posted April 19, 2020 Author Posted April 19, 2020 I really like these WWI tanks ! Wish there was a 1/16 Male Mk IV........harv 3
TJTX Posted April 19, 2020 Posted April 19, 2020 The true sign of the world coming to an end....... Harvey is gonna finish a model! 3 1

harv Posted April 19, 2020 Author Posted April 19, 2020 True dat Tony lol. Yes, I think it's very doable. Just wish they do it !.......harv 2
BlrwestSiR Posted April 19, 2020 Posted April 19, 2020 Sometimes the larger scales do make sense. The Takom Mk IV us supposed to be quite nice and I believe Tamiya make one as well. Carl 3
harv Posted April 19, 2020 Author Posted April 19, 2020 I have seen a few built. Very nice model. But I want to keep the 1/16 scale for WWI tanks. There is a nice early war Japanese tank I've seen that looks nice too......harv 3

I gave up after 15 minutes............ 3
1to1scale Posted April 21, 2020 Posted April 21, 2020 Harv, now that this thing is fully assembled, what do you think? Are there any problem areas? I ask because I am considering buying one. 2 1
harv Posted April 21, 2020 Author Posted April 21, 2020 Overall, I liked the kit. There are a few fit probs but test test test and you'll be good. The engine and radiator sub assembly needs care attention both fixing to the bottom and again the side walls. Get one. I really am enjoying it. And it's almost done in 3 months which is a global record for me. Be aware the magneto In the kit is bogus and you need a wire harness tube. Easy peasy. Just look at my try at it. Hope this helps......harv 4
