Bomber_County
During the time I’m completing my Corsair and Tempest V, I needed an on going project. So as discussed before, it sounds like there are a number of these Camels languishing in stash’s. So as this is my first WnW WW1 subject my thoughts why not do WIP showcasing my lack of skill in this genre. So please bear with me on this journey. Jeroen did a review back way back when, here’s the link Here’s the box art and couple of first attempts First out of the gate is the IP, it’s small but a lot of fun and fine painting and decaling. The engine or my attempt........ Hats off to WnW it’s beautifully engineered.........hope you enjoy...... 12
BlrwestSiR
Nice start Phil. The IP looks really great. I'm guilty of having one of these kits languishing in the stash. One day... Carl

DocRob
Great start with your Camel and like Carl said, the IP is looking very nice. As I only have a Snipe in my stash, I'm out of your maybe GB, but I will keep buckled in, to see your Camel progress. Cheers Rob

Not yet, the rigging intimidates me, although I really would love one ( and especially the triplane )................ I remember seeing the real deal at Hendon in 1990, and have always loved them....
Bomber_County
I chose this one because IMHO the rigging seems quite simple ( should not have said that).......time will tell......

GusMac
I'll be keeping a watch Phil as I've got the one I won in the raffle and any clues on how to rig these things will be appreciated. Nice start on the instruments, etc. Looking forward to seeing how you tackle the woodgrain too!

I have an idea for the wood grain.........

Sir Desmond Glazebrook
Fantastic! I am in. The ip looks beautiful. I dreamed I was rigging a Camel. It was poignant because I too have one in my stash. I am sure you will give everyone a great time watching this build, Phil.

HANG ON, MAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTEEEEEEE!!!!! I keep telling everyone, existence is ALL ABOUT ME! I am not ready to ride camel ride, let alone rig a mechanical camel! No fictional inteligence/character within my imagination may direct me. They do not exist. Indeed, this conversation is simply myself talking to my very own self as another. Therefore figment, you must wait. My reality is all that matters. No character within my solipsistic world may build a Sopwith Camel until I am ready. Let's say ten years from now. All you chaterboxes speaking to me at once must settle down! That character telling me to run down George street butt naked was simply over reaching. I shall NOT run down George street Sydney naked until I am fit enough! Brain, stop giving me orders! And if you do give me orders, do it one and a time. I simply cannot understand such a multitude of voices in my head all talking at once! Damn it! I can't get anything I want in this existence, even that Akubra hat company won't make me a pastoralist tin hat! No matter how many restraining they take out! Akubra personnel must remember, they do not exist. I hope this helps. I am a child of Monty Python.
