Ya know... I might just!

Distressing discovery! It seems that oil-based polyurethane does not adhere to the film used by my dry-transfer decal maker. The (dry) first coat started to peel right up under just the weight of the brush as I added the second coat. And of course it’s a *large* section of the base dammit If I can’t get it all to come off clean, I may be doing a *very* short-notice redo of the base... gotta love those “huh! Never seen it do **THAT** before” moments!

I saw this - it’s beautifully done

1/35 Tiger 1 - Late Production.

When Kelly’s team in their Sherman arrived at the town and faced three tigers (dressed-up t-34s were used in the movie) -
I’d love to see any of those Delta-winged darlings given the attention they deserve!

How about something completely off the reservation like an AC-47 or AC-119?

I moved into the living room... one of the joys of being divorced!

theres any number of things i’d like to see from HK. Top of my personal list would be a B-25D that I could build as an early strafer conversion in the South Pacific. There are *Sooooo many* good stories to tell with that as a base..

I’ll do a couple different versions. I’m limited a bit in terms of size - I can’t do anything larger than 11x17” but there’s still fun things that can be done - i’ll Dig around a bit on the site and come up with something that represents us well

Good to hear that there is at least movement if not progress! sometimes just getting to a diagnosis is the hardest part. Be good to yourself and know that we’re all pulling for you.

The display table admin asked me if anyone here would be reserving a table to LSM members, as he doesn’t see us on the reservation list. I’d do it myself except that I won’t be there until Friday and will be paying my registration at the door Is there anyone who will be taking display models along who’d be willing to take on a table reservation?

Hobby Boss B-24 Liberator
crazypoet replied to RAF Liberators's topic in LSM 1/32 and Larger Aircraft Ready for Inspection
That’s a beautiful bird! i’ve not Seen the kit in-person, though i’ve heard some of the issues. From where I sit, and issue with the kit is just that a kit problem, not a builder problem. You made a beautiful bit of artwork here - that’s a beautifully-done NMF, and the paint/decals/weathering are spot on. I think it’s on Hobby Boss to fix the wing and other issues - but none of that detracts in any way from the results you achieved i know with utter certainty that i’m Not up to that much bare metal - yet -
Now you’re going to make me blush! [tries vainly to shrink head back to normal] i am hoping to get feedback on the live version, taken as a whole. I’d enter it in the contest except that it’s far more wood than plastic, which doesn’t seem to fit a plastic model convention

Sopwith 'Swallow 1:32 scale

This is gorgeous work! I’m specifically impressed with your mods to the mods of the original mods...! -
This is *very* cool... I love the collaboration that happens between the different companies - it helps to leverage different strengths and we get a better kit overall. i am looking very much forward to that A-20! I’d been watching the slow dribble of hints from HpH. I finally asked them about a timeline and they said that it would be an HGW kit, towards the end of next year - which aligns perfectly with what was mentioned a few posts back. i’ve been looking at that C-47, and trying to figure out if I could convert it to an AC-47... I unfortunately haven’t (yet) found anyone doing the miniguns in 1:32. Everything else, I could scratch
