Thank you Peter. This topic also applies to Eduard. Color matching is a real problem. The only electronics to be build into the cockpit will be the illumination of the HUD. It will be added later on.

Found some time today to continue with the cockpit. I had to lighten up the AK Barley-Grey very much to match with the Grey used by RedFox for their parts. Left the original color and right the lightened up version. Front office. Detail painting and weathering still to be done. Back office… General overview Pilots Office… and WSO-Office… Left: HUD-Operation Panel. Right: WSO Main Operating Panel Next task is to paint and complete the other cockpit parts and include the first lights from the Magic Scale Modeling set to illuminate the HUD.

Great work with the yellow tail Peter. Yellow is always a challenge like the triangles on my Mirage. The tail is really an eyecatcher as will be the complete livery. Keep` em coming like you always say!

Sorry for the late reply Mark. I don’t have much time for the bench at the moment. The kit is much better than the Mirage III or Starfighter kit from Italeri. Design, parts breakdown, detailing and casting quality is much better. So far I really enjoy the build and can recommend it.

Great paintjob Peter! Based on a perfect preparation you did which is essential for such a livery. I also use both. The AK metalizer paints are even easier to use than the Alclad II colors in my opinion. Can‘t wait to see the wings painted with Alclad II.
