  1. Simply WOW Mark! She looks beautiful! Curious how this will go on!
  2. Copy Peter, Rob: Absolutely stunning build of a unique bird. This one has museum quality! Awesome!
  3. Thank you Mark. I already ordered the ECR. Was announced on the Italeri homepage. Thank you Carl. Hope it will turn out in the end as planned. Thank you! I’m also curious how the build will be. Thank you Peter. It’s the second kit that I build in electronics. We’ll see! Close to the finish line Hubert 😂 Thank you Harv! Hope you are right! Great that you join me Gary!
  4. Hello Friends, Here is my newest project I will start. It’s a 617 Sqn Dambuster Tornado in a special livery to commemorate the 70th jubilee of the Dambuster raid on the German dams in May 1943. Since I have already build the HK Lancaster in the livery of Guy Gibsons‘ Aircraft this Tornado will be displayed together on exhibitions like Telford 2022. Here‘s a picture of my Lancaster: And here are some pics of the original aircraft: Basic kit is the new Tornado from Italeri. The Tornado will also be equipped with electronics from Magic Scale Modeling: The following add-ons will be used: Crew which is necessary due to working lights on the model. 3D-cockpit from RedFox Flexible masks from Eduard Seatbelts from Eduard Decals sponsored of a friend of mine And finally the necessary colors out of the AK Real Color Range I hope to start with the build on the coming weekend. Thanks for looking.
  5. This one looks great Gary! I agree regarding your ideas for weathering taking into account where the tank was operated.
  6. Great looking pit and nice weathering, John! Will be another beauty in the end!
  7. Close to the finish line Harv! Well done!
  8. Copy Harv! You really work on many projects in parallel. And all are awesome!
  9. Can only copy Rob. Stunning build and good to hear that your wife is back and recovering well. My best wishes for her!
  10. Simply stunning Rob! Love how it turned out up to now!
  11. Great start John! It‘s the tiny bits and things that make a top model in the end. You do it justice.
  12. Copy Gary Peter, great looking pit. Keep ‚em coming like you always say !
  13. Great start! This will be a big beast in the end!
  14. Great preparation for the paintshop Peter! Curious how it will turn out!
  15. Great start Gary! Will follow this closely like all your builds.
  16. Great progress Rob! Like Gary said: I also like the insignia!
  17. Stunning model and presentation Gary. After all the challenges on the way you managed to build an impressive model. The camouflage is one of the best I’ve ever seen. German „Flecktarnung“ isn‘t easy to replicate and yours is simply perfect. I also like the presentation very much. Your chair is amazing (thanks for the 2 examples for me) as is the parachute and Gottfried. What will be your next aircraft project? Your friend Kai
  18. Thanks to all of you for your feedback. Much appreciated ! @Rob: Thanks for the tipp, will add some dust! @GusMac: thought the same. Looks more like a joke 😉 Cheers Kai
  19. Hi again, Today I finished the Diorama for my Mirage III CJ of the Israeli Air Force. I used a set from Videoaviation from Italy consisting of 2 mechanics and firefighting-equipment. Had to change the poses of the figures a little to fit. The mechanic with the naked body was a real challenge to paint. Next project will be an anniversary Dambuster Tornado with build in electronics.
  20. Great work Gary! The camouflage is stunning as the complete build. Beautiful attention to detail! I love the chairs MK2 (thank you in advance for sending them Gary, I will come back to your message separately!) and the parachute.
