  1. Thanks Harv! I know you‘ve already seen it so thanks again for your feedback! BTW: Hope that you are fine again now !
  2. I think you did right, Gaz. In my eyes the third photo clearly shows demarcation lines between 3 color-shades starting from the left wingroot. Pretty good eye, Gaz! It turned out really very nice how you did it on the model! A very special 190!
  3. Here are some pics of my small diorama with the Messerschmitt Bf-109 F-4/trop. representing a scene when Lt. Marseille achieved his 50th victory in North Africa in February 1942. The model is the Hasegawa Bf-109 F with figures from Aires representing Marseille and his Sqn Ldr. Homuth. The barrel is from Tamiya.
  4. Thanks for this feedback. I also had the opportunity to hear the sound of of them. The howling is still in my mind.
  5. Thank you Peter. That’s a very nice compliment!
  6. This will be an interesting topic to follow. especially regarding the Quinta-3D-Decals and your experiences I also have these and some RedFox in my stash. Have never seen a Spit with such beautiful (in the real sense of the word) nose art. Keep ‚em coming!
  7. Stunning paintjob, Rowdy! The mottling is one of the best I‘ve ever seen.
  8. You’re not a modeler Mike, you‘re an Artist! Simply stunning!
  9. Great mottling-job, Gaz! I love it! And very subtle effect at the ribs! Well done !
  10. Simply amazing, Cees! Nothing more to add! Can’t wait to see the next update!
  11. Lovely bird and I really like the way how it turned out! Awesome detail in cockpit and wheel wells! Great build and a rarely seen model. At least I didn’t knew it until I read your post!
  12. Another Corsair! Really a nice choice regarding the livery! The weathering makes a lot of fun on this beast! I loved building this kit. It’s one of the best I ever had on my desk! Will follow your posts intensively!
  13. As already stated in the WIP, you created a stunning Fokker, Rob! I love the livery and the way how it turned out! What will be the next subject on your bench?
  14. Stunning progress with your Stang! You are moving clearly to the finish-line. The weapon bays will be left open ? I had the same problem regarding the engine-cowlings with my ZM Ta-152. But the engine is so nice that it would be a pity to cover it. I reworked the cowlings so that they can be opened or closed. Created some effort but the result was worth it. Is there really no way to at least have one cowling open?
  15. Impressive start Peter! It seems to be a challenging project but you are so well prepared to solve all problems arising. The cockpit is simply stunning! Great work overall and I can‘t wait for your next update! It‘s sit back and enjoy! BTW: Can you tell me where I can get such a wooden support you use? I‘m quite interested in getting one. Thanks in advance and cheers Kai
  16. That looks great Gaz, and pretty good idea! Also the colors look really good!
  17. No model but absolutely awesome:
  18. Gorgeous looking Sherman, Carl. Especially the weathering and the add ons are quite realistic! Love it! I hope that I can build my Tiger as beautiful as you did with your Sherman’s!
  19. Wow,that’s simply wow! Your speed is really amazing! And the results are awesome. Thanks also for the tip with the ignition wires!
  20. I really can imagine that! Had the same problems with my Lancaster....
  21. This is a real challenge and you made a perfect start! Looks really awsome. How bid is this beauty?
  22. Short update on the progress: Finished the detail-painting of the cockpit-parts. Since everything except the plugs was black I tried to pick the details out with a grey oil-wash and repainting of the details afterwards. Now I move over to the MK4-Seat and the small cockpit-parts (stick, throttle, etc.)
  23. That’s scratchbuilding in finest matter! Keep on with the great work!
  24. Really like the results of your work! Will lead to a beautiful model when finished.
  25. Cockpit painted black and weathering started with oil-colors on future base to pick out the details of the black parts. Fotos were taken with flashlight so that picking out of the details is better visible. Is much more subtle under normal light. Next step will be detail painting of the bangseat and smaller cockpit parts.
