Thanks Rob. I was thinking about soldering the parts together but I wasn't sure how to hold the parts in position while doing so. I was wondering if a soldering paste would be useful. I use to use a solder paste when fabricating parts for my steam hobby. Normally I was using high temp silver solder, but that would be unsuitable for PE. Most likely I'm going to use CA.....the Flexy 5 stuff.

I wasn't going to post this thing...but will. It was meant to be included in my earlier post...with these items. https://forum.largescalemodeller.com/topic/26-soo-what-did-you-just-get/page/332/#findComment-258798 Anyway, from Dspiae it's their AT-RS Photo etched Rolling Set. Until now I really had no use for it, however after going over the instructions for My 1/16 Das Werk 250/1 half track I saw a step that requires shaping some PE parts I remembered this thing. I never used one of these things before.. Never needed to. Using it seems pretty straightforward. You can see the parts in question in the included screenshot of the instuctions. They are the parts listed as TP. Hope this post is useful to someone. One question, however; Should the PE parts be annealed before using this tool?

I have the single seat version, I'm interested in how these things build up. 😀 -
I downloaded the instructions for this kit..and I must say it looks like an amazing kit. Wow! It's kind of expensive but I may look into getting one. I saw it on Hobbyeasy for $99.00 USD but the shipping would be a killerl https://forum.largescalemodeller.com/topic/26-soo-what-did-you-just-get/page/332/#findComment-258798

I've been adding to my Dspiae collection lately with these recent arrivals... I added their ..... AT-CR Aluminum Alloy Stepped Wire Roller AT-PST Parallel Scribing Tool. I'm impressed by this thing! Solid all metal construction. AT-MA Multi-Angle Sanding Slider This thing is pretty slick! AT-R Craft Tools Rack. This thing is built Like a tank. Very solid. It's described as a "Low Pressure Forging" Anyway, very nice. Anyway, I've managed to get back to the bench and I have been trying to get it organized. I have been mostly living at my mother's home...Her eyesight is failing and she needs constant care. My bench is at my home, which I have been visiting infrequently. Last week I was able to do some work on an "Egg Girl" resin kit. I hope to get back there this weekend and perhaps finish up that Tamiya Semovente. Meanwhile, I'll be mostly buying tools and Supplies. I did order a 1/35 RSO kit by Miniart that will be coming soon. I'm really impressed by the quality of these Dspiae items and I would recommend them. I hope you find this post useful. Thanks; Paul

Some stuff..... From Dspiae their AT-HV Hand Held Mini Vise. This thing is nice! Very well-finished . I know this be useful. From Red Fox Studio, an instrument panel for the 1/32 Nakajima Ki44-2 Tojo (RFSQS32049) Looks very nice! From YELLOW-WINGS DECALS, A set for my 1/32 Hasegawa P-26 From Quickboost, a set of resin exhaust pipes for my 1/32 Ki-44 (QB 32 072) From DEAD DESIGN MODELS, A mask set for the Ki-44 (VM32 017) Never heard of this maker before. I also got a set of IJA seatbelts in 1/32 from Eduard

I believe they're releasing the 1/24 City as well, but I think it's the turbo version without the compo.

I do not rule out a conspiracy led by the German arms industry but it may be just a serendipitous turn of events😀

Great job Scott! -
Yes, hilarious about the robots😀 If you think about it, what else? I don't think Trumpeter wants to offend western customers by suggesting a west/east conflict. Anyway I noticed and mentioned that a while back to a family member and we had a chuckle....... Imagine a possible diorama demonstrating A robot insurrection involving those Gundam robot things........well 'nuff said😀

Some items... From Hasegawa, their 1/32 Nakajima Ki 44-2 Hei SHOKI (Tojo) (08880) St30. From AOSHIMA, their 1/12 MOTOCOMPO AB12 '81(06290) I remember that these Were meant to carried in your car ( Honda City) in the early 1980's. A strangely Japanese Idea. The little scooter folded up to achieve this, but weighing about 100 lbs., I wouldn't want to lift this into a car. Anyway, thought the model might be built to display with an "Egg Girl". From HIQ Parts, six sets of circle masks. I thought these might be useful for masking instrument dials, perhaps, or Other uses, we'll see. From Tamiya, a set of HG TWEEZER GRIP SCISSORS (74157**2100) An interesting new tool for me. Last, also from Hasegawa, another " Egg Girl".

I'd be interested in The Dauntles as long as it's not too costly. 1/35 is fine by me!

Are they making the entire aircraft or just a cockpit upgrade?

Good work Carl! Surgical precision😀 -
Not lazy, looks great. I do not weather most of my tanks because I build them to display on my coffee table as "recognition models" I don't think in the context of a coffee table model lots of weathering makes sense. In a diarama or battlefield scene yes definitely. It's my choice. I don't look down on anyone who shows their work. You will notice I never make negative Comments on any builds. I get comments like: "Nice clean build" all the time I'm not sure the comments are always meant to be favorable, but I took the time to post my build and I like the way I build. A build that I have coming up I plan to make the model Look like the one at the Lantrun Museum. It's clean, but has slight rust stains. Thanks for posting your work.

Is that their 1/32 ki-44? I just ordered that one. -
Dspaie makes a circle cutter that makes making masks for the wheels easy.....that's what I use...works great. Worth the price https://www.amazon.com/DSPIAE-Stepless-Adjustment-Circular-Cutter/dp/B07MHMNZMZ/ref=sr_1_2?crid=282RRFTNF4PBH&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.teILi65iTSbHfi8YpA2pi8fDSI46bjZzJfcqWghD5IxoEGbMC4wZbv3mH6rrqZTGtfalKlZkYUAdpZLJbt020Z0xcUOXDpEa43SoStfzF76n4HORp6YIZhIHl-LLkA_AJalZLB18WLqIiH3_jl0PkNbFPpLsMMe6yDYeCnByP9XBNIyeKvbWVK0V4kPQJQSzRr1IPS1WAdtJfOwPZ85fqzOGmie8cCw88O5QSnJVSynZ6eTFthYaL3iocR5BSsoVobVyutKVBPfQtBSQgZeNPj-6yQ518KUWeew_A8PMZ5M.VUymgEJ3g7kUMIy8yKGKRBValSNVMDpTf9j_WRXZ7ls&dib_tag=se&keywords=dspiae+circle+cutter&qid=1747410083&sprefix=Dspiae+circle%2Caps%2C622&sr=8-2
