  1. Stunning Chris, she a large lady. When I did my Lysander in 48th I read every where that the struts were in the wrong place. So I moved the location holes to find out they were in the right place all the time……this build is going to be gorgeous……
  2. Mike, absolutely stunning, as always shame it will not be seen…….
  3. Kevin, wow and all in 72nd, hats off to you…….condolences on GM ….
  4. Thanks Peter, it’s fun having a go at scratch building, sometimes it’s successful, I must admit it took me 3 attempts at getting the handles and trigger mechanism to look half decent……
  5. Thanks Kev, you won’t think that just adding a couple of items lifts the whole thing……the recoil spring in the 20mm also …….
  6. Thanks Paul, it’s therapeutic sometimes to do some scratch building……
  7. Thanks Carl, it coming along slowly. The Bofors plus 37 & 20 mm made a formidable trio……
  8. Small update, had a couple of hours over the weekend, the 37mm is done and after modifications to the 20mm, I’m calling that done to. After removing the barrel , I drillied out the centre and added a recoil spring as the original………bit fiddly but I think it works….see before and after….
  9. Thanks Peter, much appreciated. I’m hoping just to highlight certain aspects, I could go the whole mile but I reckon that’s a years worth of my limited bench time…….
  10. Thanks Rob, I must admit working with metal is preferable, I’m not sure how far to take the details…….
  11. Brilliant Martin, this coming on a treat……..Tamiya just announced they are releasing a Mossie Bomber……………just kidding……..sorry couldn’t resist……..
  12. I’m looking forward to this build, another masterclass to watch. Just for Hubert’s benefit, great to see this in the proper scale……
  13. Factory fresh, be a good diorama piece with a couple of other vehicles…..
  14. Wasn’t there the Victor accidentally took off?
  15. Harv, sorry to hear your news, glad it’s amicable. We’re 37 years this year so wow big change…….we’re here if you want us, take that spare room and make it into the most amazing man cave this side of whatever……..
  16. John, looking very polished as ever, the splinter camo is different, reckon it would be a challenge……
  17. Very interesting, I’ve the ZM Mk IV in the stash. Thanks for posting…
  18. See if you find the Dawn Upshaw recording, IMHO the best version…….
  19. Peter , stunning cockpit. The finishing you achieve is very realistic, one day I might get close……..looked at RedFox and they do not supply the Lanc IP etc yet. Did notice they do the Mosquito so will purchase from them…..
  20. Congratulations Peter absolutely stunning, flawless as ever and for a vintage kit, amazing…….
  21. Rob, just catching up, your PE work is phenomenal, congrats. I must get back to my KGV, how are the PE instructions? I still haven’t fixed my record deck but was playing my Marantz CD player when I heard a clunk. There is a phenolic lever that opens the tray, for some reason and if I remember Phenolic will deteriorate over time. So to open the tray I have to stop and pull the tray open with a strip of tape…..😟 I need to update my equipment……..a friend who is a complete audio nut played me Symphony of Sorrowful Songs by Goreski, listened to it a hundred times but wow did his kit blow me away…….genre wise folk, soul, jazz, rock ……. I’ll stop there it goes on……
  22. Neil, we all have to mix up it at some point. I also have had the Mossie since 2016. I was new back to the hobby so bought it but didn’t feel capable of doing it justice. I think and believe I’m ready now. I have a list of AM if you’re interested. Probably finish the GB off and then start ………
  23. Carl the PE is looking stunning, this Vosper is going to sing……..shame Italeri didn’t add a little more PE to all their boats, it wouldn’t be that much more…..
  24. Gaz, thanks me too. It took me awhile to figure out the railing as I didn’t have any outer slide tube. Drilling out the aluminium and then cutting it into 2mm lengths was time consuming but as you said satisfying……
