  1. Hope you get back safe Harv. Some colleagues were in Seattle for a conference last week and had a nightmare getting back - some baggage is still 'en-route'! The unusual amounts of snow there has even made the news here in the UK
  2. Looking great Mark but I'm not sure I envy you having to add all those rivets.
  3. The lozenge material on the seat and back panel is stunning.
  4. Just the thought gives me a headache. I've never mastered the art of getting small enough amounts of CA to glue PE effectively without big blobs all over it, so I take my hat off to you for the pristine finish.
  5. Hope it goes well Rich and look forward to this getting a reboot.
  6. Good grief Danny that AA mount would suck all the joy out of me on it's own.
  7. Hopefully the way I intend.......
  8. Good to see you here Scott. Some serious woodworking skills there.
  9. What are the brakes like on that Clunk? Two tons with the sort of momentum you'll generate at 60 mph in 6 secs will take bit of stopping! If they're like our cars of that era though, the brakes will be essentially worthless.
  10. Okay, quick update on progress. Primed with Mr Surfacer 1500 and marble coat with a variety of colours. Hoping that this will give a good start to the weathered effects with a thin layer of the grey over it. Last picture highlights a few issues I had with over-thinning and too high a pressure but hopefully will be fine after the top coat.
  11. I'm not even sure knitting captures the difference in skill-set here between Peter and the ham-fisted like myself. Maybe Large Scale Finger-painters might be close! Just stunning work again Peter.
  12. Great picture, although you do think, 'How???....'
  13. That first pic looks 'interesting'! I imagine a change of underwear was called for.
  14. Nice IP Mark. Last operational RAF Tornados arrived back in the UK from Cyprus today. Will be gone by the end of March. Scary, I clearly remember them coming into service and built the Revell (?) 1/72 kit of the Panavia prototype as a kid.
  15. Martin, that truck bottom right in your winter picture looks like it's wearing the Cockney 'Pearly King' cammo!
  16. Make him a scarf out of tissue and white glue! Won't quite match with the shorts and short-sleeve shirt but hey.....
  17. Lovely result Danny and a great save on the Dottie decal.
  18. Cockpit looks great. Given how small the canopy is I'm not sure how much will be seen anyway.
  19. Hi Dennis, the plan is for a well worn Greek scheme but exactly which airframe isn't decided yet. I think I'm going to get the base colours on first and then go from there. Gus
  20. That M4A3 looks like you could drive around in it once it's finished. Huuuuge!
  21. That wing to fuselage joint is very neat given all the work going on.
  22. Nice subtle result. It does bring to mind an old debate one of our physics lecturers liked to have about 'how black is black?'
  23. The Ammo panel line washes are very good and there are a few shades of grey you could switch between to very the 'dirtiness'
  24. I'm desparate for a Spey engined bird but not enough to try and do this to an expensive kit! I grew up just across the river from Leuchars, so saw the 111 and 43 squadron machines doing 'circuits and bumps' all the time. Come on HKM tell us the status! Hats off Cees, that's a great start and I'm sure this will be easyish compared to the Manchester.
