Ooh, that's a real shame. Don't know an easy fix for that as NMF is outwith my experience other than a very lame attempt when I first got back into the hobby using rattlecan Tamiya AS-12. Hope you get is sorted as it's looking very cool otherwise.

Once again just laughably good. Stunning to observe your work Peter but it does make me feel as though I'm knitting with spaghetti by comparison. -

That pic sums up why biplanes give me the heeby-jeebies! The thought of getting all that rigging sorted is frightening. Gonna look stunning -
Thanks Jeroen. The open hatches should certainly add some real interest to the build.

Is the plywood just a liner for mounting the tanks?

Way to make life difficult for yourself Mark! Result should be stunning though

Cool... and minimal rigging, so might be tempted.

MK1 hobbies do some but I've no idea of the quality. It's a pity Videoaviation don't do some as their Mk82s are stunning and very reasonable.

Nice project Jeroen.. ..and another place to add to the 'must see' list next time we're back in France

Great review and a beautiful looking kit. Never had an interest in boat kits but I might pick one of these up due to so many local connections. My late father-in-law also ran a pleasure boat out of Anstruther in the 70s. Unfortunately, the Reaper from Anstruther that James mentions was quite badly damaged in an unfotrtunate accident at a local fish festival in Johnshaven last year. She was tied up under sail in the inner harbour to allow the public on and a freak gust of wind tipped her on her side and threw a few folk into the harbour. Luckily no-one was hurt but quite a bit of damage was done. -
Ivan, you need to investigate whether you can make vodka from Vegemite. Might make it palatable if you can drink it!

Good Deal Alert! F-5E & F-5F cheap! AGAIN!?!?!
GusMac replied to 1to1scale's topic in General Discussion
No idea how that eBay seller goes for North America but for Europe they are great as Ivan says. I've bought a load of stuff from them and it always arrives promptly and the prices are great even if the shipping is factored in. Also, in common with quite a few Chinese and HK sellers they're quite happy to be creative on the customs declaration so that it gets in to the country without getting hammered. Just wish some of the Japanese sellers were so 'flexible' but I don't think that's in their national make-up! -
Looking forward to seeing what you do with the Flogger, Ivan. Having built the MF I'd advise trying to do something to strengthen the undercarriage as mine has sagged badly over time. Could be my poor skills but I think it's also a factor of the design.

Yes, it would make the world seem a little strange if the Devastator wasn't in there. If it ever actually appears the world may tilt off it's axis!

What he said ^^^^ -
Tried and failed previously! However, plan for this year is to finish the Greek A-7 then jump right out of my comfort zone and crack on with the M911 C-HET. It's the HB kit not the Meng one - it was less than half the price and not having built a vehicle since I was a teenager I didn't want to burn too much cash when I inevitably stuff it up!

You'd better get started doing some weight training for your left arm Tom. Photos like the one above could become a challenge as this thing grows! -
Looks great Daz. You have to say they were optimists going for white-wall tyres on a battlefield!
-
Thanks Peter. I had a good bit of time off over the festive season for the first time in a few years and my wife was working so.... As long as the dogs got a good walk I was otherwise free.
