  1. NINE! I don't think I've built that many kits total since the first F4 Corsair came out.
  2. This was a black labrador before someone left that skunk odour remover on it for too long!
  3. Nice Danny. I take it the book is in anticipation of a future release?
  4. Great. Where exactly is the museum Cees? We're planning a driving holiday to Europe next year, so it would be ferry to Ijmuiden then onwards, so we could fit it in on the way (if my wife agrees!).
  5. Good grief. I hate to imagine the next photo a fraction of a second later. Hope the crew had popped out by that point!
  6. Looks like they're buying some serious tech and ordnance as well as the basic airframes.
  7. Seems like smart move Ernie. I can't imagine trying to mask windows on a vac canopy/window at that scale.
  8. I think you do get a decent sense of the oil-canning in those pics Ernie and as you say it looks amazing. Looking forward to seeing how they come out.
  9. Another gem Micha. Just love that dirty windscreen.
  10. Help, I need new eyes! That's a lot of small text. Possibly shouldn't have read it on my tablet! Very interesting read though, thanks Martin.
  11. Bit lacking in windows! Especially for the crew! Never built an airliner kit but I presume all the windows come as decals?
  12. Lovely result John and sooo fast. Takes me a minimum 4-6 months to do anything this size.
  13. Sounds very interesting. Must try and visit next time we're across.
  14. That looks amazing Cees. Puts everyone's worries about space for the new 1/32 Lanc and Liberator in perspective. I'm assuming you don't keep these at home!
  15. I agree Pete, the Vallejo metallics are great, easy to use, no odour and dry well. Used them on my F-15C and F-16 and they are very robust. Engine looks great. Dirty without being filthy.
  16. Do like a Laphroaig as well Rob - my wife hates it unfortunately. Bunnahabhain is worth checking out as well if you like your whisky Islay style. Pity the spell checker doesn't like them so much!
  17. Rob, Skye and the Lochaber area around Fort William are 2 of the best biking areas around. Fort William often features on the world tour. As is often said, the rain we get provides the raw materials for the distilleries. If you ever make it back to Scotland I can recommend Arran for the cycling and the whisky.
  18. Thanks for highlighting that Maru. Not always the cheapest but invariably in stock and always reliable. Condolences to the family.
  19. Might need to gun the throttles on the next take-off to overcome the lack of lift!
  20. Similar to harv, I've heard tomato ketchup works well. Probably similar to the acidity of the coke
  21. Nice looking bikes Rob. The motor seems like a good idea. There's some great mountain biking country around us here in Scotland but I suspect you have the better deal weather-wise!
  22. Big plane, small instruction book! You'd think they might have printed it in A4 size to ease the eye strain. Heck, with a box that big they could have printed it A0 size!
