Thanks again Harv. I'll be watching your build. I wonder if FLY offers the  Sikorsky  version?

They dont but i did conversion to use on the fly model. Reach out to Readoks figures...they carry it for me.

First cut is the deepest..... I've made a start of it. Big question. I need suggestions on what saws to use cutting this out. I used to have small Radu's saws but used them all up. What do you all use ?......harv

Harv.

You can use small saws from hasegawa, they have a great set.

You need to set up a guide for the saws to follow since saws have a tendency to take the path of least resistance. I use a bendable metal ruler taped to the fuselage for mine. Dont rush the sawing, this area is super delicate.

Harv, I have the JLC saw and I think it's very similar to the Radu ones.

They sell spare blades too.

You could also just use a scriber and keep making light passes until it cuts through the plastic.

Carl

scriber won't work for this, plastic is too thick and the area to be cut is too fragile because of the tight area  ,there is also  a chance of slippage and scratching surrounding area.
