Sorry to hear that Mark. I don't have pets. I just have furry members of the family. My two boxers are getting old now and i'm dreading the day they go.

Mark, I know your pain, all three of our cats are now hunting in the big sky. Unfortunately all three went the same way as your Min. We have now decided no more furry friends, the pain is just to much when they go…….thoughts are with you….

Very sorry to hear about your loss. They are a part of the family and will be missed. Can't imagine to loose my dog. I hope she had a wonderful live.

Reading that actually brought a tear to my eyes, I'm a wimp I know but they do become part of the family, we adopted two cats when we lived in Sydney and fetched them home to the UK.

One we adopted from an RSPC home called Mr Maxwell and adopted the other one from a pet refuge who we named Sydney, they both lived happy and long lives but old age and illness meant that we had to have both put to sleep within a couple of years of each other, Max was 20 and Syd was 17. We were that devasted that we decided not to take on any other furry members of the family.

Thank you all

And yes the are family.

Right now we have 3 other cats walking around.

The oldest is already 18 and we tought she will be the first because here age.

All the cats we have are adopted to give them a good life.

Its always hard to make the dissision but it whas the best we can do for here

Really sorry to hear that Mark. We had to put our cat Tilly to sleep just at the start of lockdown. She was 19 and just lost the use of her back legs, so it was an easy but terrible decision. I hope your family aren't too upset.

So sorry for your loss. It’s the one thing that really sucks about having pets.  Last year one of my guys at work had to have his cat of 19 years put to sleep.   Our pup of 13 years had get put down just before Christmas as well.  Man, it was hard.
