lawman56 Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Fantastic work! I love the contrast of the yellow wires, looks great!
Steve Scanlon Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Excelllent detail work and superb paint job, fantastic.
BevanBrooks Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Hi Chris you've done a fantastic job on the 262, it really looks like you've put you're heart and soul into the paint and weathering and it's come up awesome. Have you got a build thread, I'd love to see some pics of the cockpit wheel wells etc. Again great job cheers Bevan
alpinestar Posted April 18, 2014 Author Posted April 18, 2014 Cheers Bevan! Build thread here: http://forum.largescalemodeller.com/topic/2120-132-trumpeter-me-262a-2a/ Chris.
One-Oh-Four Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Great model of the JaBo!! I personally might have tried to tone down the RLM76 squiggles a bit, but that's just my personal taste. And taste is just like opinions is just like....
alpinestar Posted April 18, 2014 Author Posted April 18, 2014 Cheers Erik. I did tone down the stripes quite a lot. They were quite luminous when first sprayed! They aren't that bright in the flesh, I think the camera highlighted them a bit too well..... 1
ajaycad Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 Chris Perfect, what more can I say ! What armour project are you thinking of next ? Andy
alpinestar Posted April 19, 2014 Author Posted April 19, 2014 Thanks Andy! I've just started my first build for the Eastern Front group build, a KV-1S. I also have an SU-152 and maybe a Tiger to do for this too Cheers again for the comments. Chris.
