BlrwestSiR
Harv, go for it. The set is very impressive. It also gets rid of having to build the Tamiya Merlin so should make for a straightforward build.

belugawhaleman
Today came my EBAY purchase of the BRONCO T17E1 STAGHOUND A/C MK. I (LATE PRODUCTION) CB-35011. In 1/35 scale. This I plan to do as a Cuban example using the STAR DECALS AFVs in Cuba #1 sheet. Cuba purchased 25 ex-Israeli Staghounds from Nicaragua in 1956.

belugawhaleman
More kits today: From TAMIYA another Sherman; their M4A3E8 "Easy Eight" European Theater in 1/35. Yes, I realized that the Korean war "Easy Eight" wasn't the correct version for my Cuban Sherman project so I got this version. Also from TAMIYA; their M3A1 Scout Car in1/35. This has markings for two Soviet Lend-lease vehicles plus what looks like an early WW2 U.S. version in two-toned camouflage. I saw an interesting decal sheet by STAR DECALS that offers markings for the M3A1 scout car and the M8 Greyhound in Swedish markings as used by their U.N. forces in the Congo. I've already ordered them.

They threw in a set of figures and charged less than Asuka did for the same kit. Tamiya also released the Asuka Firefly in a similar package. BlrwestSiR
Nice bunch of kits Peter! I remember the Minicraft F11F. Was one of my favourites when I was a kid. I had the same boxing of it. I wish someone did it in 1/32. Carl
Peterpools
Carl Same here, I would be all over it. I grew up maybe 10 miles from Grumman's in Bethpage but never saw a Tiger, just before my time and by then, they might have been assembling and flying the jets out of Calverton. belugawhaleman
Today came a kit from Polish kit maker IBG Models; their Chevrolet C15TA Armoured Truck in 1/35 scale. It looks like a nice kit; being nicely molded and includes photo etched parts. IBG also makes this truck as the "Otter" Reconnaissance car. The Otter version is on my list of future purchases as being weird and ungainly-looking it has caught my interest. I've included a picture of an otter. 8

Peterpools
Always liked the odd and 'street tough' looking armor. Looking forward to a build thread not to far down the road. Keep 'em comin Peter
BlrwestSiR
Got some AM in the mail today. And although I was trying to cut down on kit purchases, I couldn't pass these up for $75 CAD. The Spitfire even has a Barracudacast resin seat. 9

GusMac
That's great Misha. How are the clear sprues on yours? I've seen a lot of horror stories of them arriving with the canopy smashed in transit. 3 1
belugawhaleman
Some recent arrivals: Some accessories from MASTER MODEL; Their U.S.37mm M6 gun barrel (MASGM35029). I got two of these, one for an M8 greyhound and another for a Staghound MK I. I also got a set of their Browning M1919 .30 caliber barrels one piece muzzle (GM-35-005). These I'll also use on the Staghound MK I. I also got an Ancient kit from Tamiya; their M113 U.S. Armoured Personnel Carrier (35040). This kit dates back to 1974 and I remember building it about 1979 or thereabouts. I ordered An EDUARD detail set for it (EDU35046). I also have a better Browning .50 m2 from a Tamiya weapons set, and an Aber barrel for a M2 that I may use. I want to build this kit mostly for nostalgia purposes, as it was one of the first model Kits I ever built. I had a look in the box.........a funny thing, I don't remember it being so small! 5

Just front turret has small crack where detail is attached to sprue. It is packed very tightly in the box and clear sprues are on top. Quality itself of clears is not perfect but acepteble i think 2
Martinnfb
So , amongst other things, I was chatting with Carl about the egg plane Su-27 and me having difficulty to find one online, then the conversation turned elsewhere and I forgot about it. And all of sudden this arrived. Thank you Carl 7

BlrwestSiR
We got our neighbour's tree today during a bit of a thunderstorm. They were so nice, they even shared it with our neighbours on the other side. In all seriousness, nobody was hurt and it looks like the biggest damage was to the fence. Here's a view from their side. Going to be a bit of a pain to get rid of it though. Anyone need some firewood or mulch? 1 1
