Administrators JeroenPeters Posted March 27, 2017 Author Administrators Posted March 27, 2017 Ok guys.... Scanning reference pics for last missing details, but I think this is it. I took your advice and made the canopy less transparent, as per the real one. Mixed some matt varnish with a hint of radome and thinned it a lot. I'll take some proper pics this weekend! 7 1
Administrators James H Posted March 27, 2017 Administrators Posted March 27, 2017 Damn that's so nice, and that canopy weathering makes all the rest of it come together and make sense. 1

GusMac Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 Stunning result on the canopy. Just the final jewel in the crown.
DocRob Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 Strike! This seals it. The aged canopy fits so much better to the, lets call it "not so perfect obtained" bird. The perfect rendition of aged glass / Plexiglas. Cheers Rob
rkranias Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 Great effort on the canopy. Time to get out some polishing compound. Overall, this build just screams perfection and skill. Bravo Jeroen. Now lets get a pic of this next to your Ju88.
Dave J Posted March 28, 2017 Posted March 28, 2017 Bloody Great! How are you fixing everything to the base?
Wingco57 Posted March 28, 2017 Posted March 28, 2017 Yep you nailed it. Think the airframe still looks too new though. 1
levier Posted March 29, 2017 Posted March 29, 2017 I was confident you could do it with effective subtle method... ausgezeichnet! 1
