JohnB
Since I had a false start on this build I decided I'd start a whole new thread. I still plan to do Pengie II so let the work begin!

JohnB
Comparing the Hasegawa fuselage to the Trumpeter I find two "issues". The tail on the Trumpeter kit is taller than the Hasegawa. Also, the fuselage is deeper. My guess would be the Trumpeter is a bit off.

GusMac
Having built the Trumpeter Jug my main piece of advice would be to join the spine inserts to the fuselage halves and then join them, rather than as the instructions show. Gets you a far neater finish. Looking forward to seeing what you do with this.

Administrators Clunkmeister Posted November 16, 2018 Administrators Share Posted November 16, 2018 Can this be built without all the goofy turbocharger ducting in place? Either way, I'm looking forward to seeing this develop

Peterpools
JOhn Nothing like following a Jug build. As always, will be following every step of the way. Thanks for posting the comparison photos, food for thought as always on how manufactures determine the shape, size and details. Keep 'em comin Peter

Surely they must source original or copies the subject in question? Ok injection moulding and cost can negate certain details but verbal shape and mass of fuselage and wings can’t be difficult, IMHO.........
