Don't know yet. Hell, I'm not sure they got my email. I sent it from my phone 

. For some reason I can't transfer pic from phone to the puter. And yes, the KI is awesome. Couldn't believe how big the box is !

After seeing your pics, I took my set out. I'm not sure if it's any better. Sorta looks ok from here:

I hate to say it, but it seems like a given status quo in terms of the standard and molding quality of ZM resin . Time to be creative.

One done. The second will be quick now I know what parts I don't need. Not much will be seen....harv

Hang in there, you will hear from ZM. I contacted them on a kit problem a few years back, received an email and the parts .. just takes a bit of time.

Nice work on the engine (s).

Ok, I’m really confused now,  is the 229 a resin kit, I thought, probably naively it was IM...........I bought the ZM F4J and that’s IM...........am I going mad..........

no buddy. The 229 is a IM kit, infact the skin is clear. But the conversion set is resin.......harv

Ok, both done. Some paint touch ups. Minamal parts, only 3 hrs. Tomorrow start on frame work.......harv

I agree Martin ! Since little will be seen, all internal parts will be minimal, time saving .They could of left all the clear stuff regular IM......harv

Done for the night. My eyes hurt ! This is step 3 out of 17 for framework. Man, lots of real fiddly parts.....harv

You should use a monochrome background while working at the frame :icon_eek:. When I see this, mine will go further down the shelf. Having my experiences with the not so easy to build TA-152, I recommend test fitting a lot.

Thanks guys ! Rob, I have to admit, the fit has been really good so far. I did have to alter the gluing sequence a bit to align some parts correctly. More work later today......harv

I fully understand the sequence thing, Harv. I installed the front wheel long before the instructions said to...
