Members Mikester Posted March 6, 2019 Members Posted March 6, 2019 Really, really nice! I'll interject that I've read most Sturmbocks had the cowl mounted MGs removed, sometimes the troughs were faired over as well. 4 1

Bomber_County Posted March 10, 2019 Posted March 10, 2019 stunning airbrushing skills, when I mask and then lift it off, the base comes with it..........what paints are you using..... 3 1

Hi BC, tamiya cut approx 50% with x20a tamiya thinner. Primed with mr surface 1000 again cut 50% with mr colour leveling thinner gives me a solid smooth base for paint. 3
BlrwestSiR Posted March 10, 2019 Posted March 10, 2019 Fantastic build and paint job. I'm just catching up with it now. Paint masks really are the way to go in this scale. They can take a bit more prep sometimes but I feel it's usually worth it. Carl 3 1
Peterpools Posted March 10, 2019 Posted March 10, 2019 Right with Carl and Phil Magic with an air brush for sure Keep 'em comin Peter 2
coolboxx Posted March 22, 2019 Author Posted March 22, 2019 Time for an update, so a pin wash with pastel, filter with pastel and dry pastel pencil, and close to finish up. 5
DocRob Posted March 23, 2019 Posted March 23, 2019 Love it, the treatment turned out great, the effect on the black cowlings is very well articulated. Are these rivets only highlighted or made by HGW? Cheers Rob 2 1
