Martinnfb Posted January 23, 2021 Author Posted January 23, 2021 Little progress on Armata. Getting more and more information and adding up more and more detail. Lol 7 1
AlanG Posted January 23, 2021 Posted January 23, 2021 Well if you could actually see my bench then you'd see three kits. It's all a bit of a cluster**** at the moment. But honestly there is the 1/32 Fw190 G8 conversion (just painted the RLM 23), a 1/48 Bf109 E4 (GB on another forum) and my sons Mitsubishi Zero (awaiting starting). I am going to tidy it all up but i just haven't had the time this week. 8

Bomber_County Posted January 24, 2021 Posted January 24, 2021 Pushing on with the Matilda III as a distraction........ 12
TJTX Posted January 26, 2021 Posted January 26, 2021 Got a bit of a Thud crash sight on the bench right now. Decided to give the Black Box gear wells a try. 7
TJTX Posted January 28, 2021 Posted January 28, 2021 Cleaned up the bench to head back to work. Of course had to do a little taping to see what she'll look like. 10

Rowdy Posted January 30, 2021 Posted January 30, 2021 Those tank kits are so stunning these days, makes me want to build one! Awesome work guys! 6
Bill_S Posted January 30, 2021 Posted January 30, 2021 Engine work for me, too. That's a piece of insulation from 30 gauge wire. 0.018 inch diameter, 0.040 inch long. Faux spark plugs. I used Albion Alloys 0.03 diameter tubing for the wire carriers, drilled with a 0.011 bit for the plug wires. Magneto wires are simply stuffed into the end of the tube. 8 1
