  1. Thanks, Here are the pics as promised. As the nose section will be quite dark I will only represent the basic shapes such as the automatic pilot " footballs" and the camera. The flight engineers collapsible seat has been made as well and it even works up and down. The seat back still needs to be made. Some of the already made parts such as the navigators table and mounting for the R1155/t1154 set up have been modified to make painting easier and reduce the number of loose parts. Getting there. Cheers Cees
  2. After a few of those you will be able to pronounce that name fluently I suppose.
  3. The good news I have made some nice progress on the cockpit yesterday during the annual modellers event held at our museum at Fort Veldhuis. Will post pics this evening. Cheers Cees
  4. Indeed, those 21 Century kits build up very nicely. Nicely done Johann. Cheers Cees
  5. Good that you persevered with the riveting, it will look much better in nmf. Do you do these free hand or use a ruler? I never seem to get the hang of this work. Any tips? Cheers Cees
  6. Well, at least it's a bit of news coming from HKM Headquarters.
  7. Hong Kong Models just confirmed that the first release of the 1/32 Lancaster kit provides decals for the famous S-for Sugar which is on display at the RAF Museum at Hendon and completed over 120 sorties. With Telford on the horizon, let's hope more news is forthcoming. Cheers Cees
  8. Sorry to see this so late but that is absolutely wonderful. Make a nice comparison to clean models. Well done!
  9. Pics or it didn't happen as they say in the digital world.
  10. I really like the way you build up the colours, just like the real thing. Time for an update..... Cheers Cees
  11. Gee, almost a month since my last post. Having been Netflixed at the moment keeps me away from the workbench. About time to do some work again.
  12. Any constructive words fail me, just drooling over my keyboard.
  13. Only in Berlin, and London and..... and..... and..................
  14. Now that is something you don't see every day.
  15. Hi all, As we know Photobucket manage to create havoc on all internet fora recently. Some forumites may still have signatures linked from them-who-shall-not-be-named which are useless now. In case you are not aware of this please check your signature and correct/delete if appropriate. Cheers Cees
  16. Nice one Tom. Glad that you enjoyed it too. Exeptional value for money.
  17. Well, there are two large scale Tomcats already. The "old" Tamiya one, which needs quite a lot of aftermarket but is still a very nice kit and the Trumpeter version of which I have read that it is a very good representation of Grumman's finest. Cees
  18. Good start, this will send your mojo running back.
  19. Ditto, that engine looks very nice and busy.
  20. I deleted all my pics from photobucket. No more energy spent on those a-holees. I tried deleting my account but evertime I hit the enterbutton it didn't work. Getting another host makes me wonder if they won't follow the same route at some point. For the time being I stick to posting pics on LSM only.
  21. Boy Photobucket really have made a mess of fora all over the Internet. Here are some old pics to save some images in this thread. Cheers Cees
  22. Magnificent, that thing is huge compared to your workbench (or you must have a very small bench). I bet you have surprised yourself too. Looking forward to see the cockpit interior getting worked on. Keep it up. Cheers Cees
