  1. I can see why your 109 is so damned good...this really kicks arse!!!Fantastic! Cheers, Dennis
  2. Aaron, whats your brew for that efflux staining? Looks very effective against the stark and somewhat lurid winter scheme (beautifully done by the way mate; can you believe Jamie Haggo models like a god then goes off and flies fighter jets during the bloody week!!!!-Legend!) Cheers, Dennis
  3. You could try flicking HK an email Paulo, info@hk-models.de and request a copy of the instructions. Other than that, good luck! Regards, Dennis
  4. In typical Swiss fashion, your work is quite beautiful and flawless Arno - don't be so hard on yourself! You have given me something to strive for in this regard! Regards, Dennis
  5. Fantastic project Sir! Man that is nice work. Could you please tell me, what color have you painted the block?
  6. When you said you have modified the spinner Darren, what did you actually do? The Wife has just released the purse strings long enough for me to dive in and come up with the Revell 32 scale G-6..I would like to use your thread as an instructional tome, if you will. One other thing Darren...I see you have added a few bits and bobs to the cockpit area; could you please outline in a little more detail what was added and how? What paints did you use here? Kind Regards, Dennis
  7. Your Mig was fantastic Gus...finish this one in the same ballpark as your Trumpy Mig and you should have a right smile from ear to ear....
  8. Awesome natural metal finish there...
  9. I like it Gus! From what I know, the IDF were (and still are)continually changing both the configuration and coloration on their airframes on almost a rotational basis, so pinning down one particular scheme may not prove to be as simple as you might think...Anyway Gus, I think what you have done is great, and I'll be following along!
  10. Darren, hope all is well with you now mate. Love what you have done so far; I'll certainly be following this project with interest!
  11. ..Is this the 1/24 Fisher kit??
  12. Jeroen; that is one kick-arse peice of work there mate...absolutely fantastic!! How did you get the printing onto your display base? Where did you get your graphics from?
  13. I have not personally built anything from ZM (yet)...do the engine cowlings come off for display of that beautiful engine block you have obviously spent a great deal of time and effort working on Laurent? You can almost see the heat plumes radiating off that engine - that is truly great work, and a great peice of observation. To my mind (only my opinion) it would be sad to loose that contest compatible engine block...
  14. Wow.....that is stunning...the rigging alone makes my eyes hurt!
  15. ...What happened to 'it never rains in Southern California??? (lol)...Fantastic, clean and well finished paint job on the 163...there is something I cannot quite define about your project I really like...
  16. What an inspirational and technically astute peice of work Tom. Fantastic!
  17. Ooooooohhhhhhhhhh Ralph; they have pills for that mate!(lol). Beautiful job!; striking finish with just the right amount of weathering.
  18. The old P-47 looks like a pit bull with wings and an engine up front...and you have captured this brilliantly Rick - awesome job mate!
  19. Beautiful Mike...how about a Rare Bear to go with that??
  20. Lovely weathering and finish treatment! You have captured a real 'presence' of the real machine here...not an easy thing to do (don't ask me how I know this...)
  21. Mauricio, I happened across your build looking for another project...beautiful, refined, restrained and attractive work! You have really managed to evoke the true beauty of this aircraft in your project...bravo!
  22. Beautiful, crisp paint work Ralph! Now if only I can replicate your paint job on my Tamiya 48 scale version of this aircraft...
  23. ...I remember making this kit back before the days of electric light, when my loin cloth kept getting in the damn way...What a wonderful kit that seeing this has brought back so many memories. Thanks for the very pleasant trip down memory lane Rob; may this give you as much pleasure as it gave me way back when...
  24. Thanks Gentlemen! I had never thought of using sellotape for instrument faces! I have been working away on a 32 scale Gr.1 and my 35 scale Super Cobra over this weekend, however I will be getting back to the MS406 shortly...photos to come.
  25. It's a whole heap messier now!!...thanks to Matt21 and his 109 I'm off and running again - the computer bench has vanished under a 1/35 AH-1W Super Cobra, a Hasegawa P-40E, my MS406 project and a Trumpy 35th Mi-8MT Monsterchopper...
