I'm gonna follow along with the next build as well,, the Albatros is one of my top fav's too, and I, along with Kai, will learn lots and put it to good use when I try my hand at my Albatros..... the FW is top drawer, Gaz -
absolutely

You are correct, I think for the most part, the older versions didn't have shocks on the drivers, but I have seen a few with, so this could very easily be the right thing to do.... looks really good.....

Traditionally I would say no on the back, but rather just a trunion, and yes on the front axle for a shock

Yes, red is a go fast color !! and maybe all of the criticisms are in the delivery? If it is delivered respectfully, rather than sanctimoniously, that might be the difference? Just throwing that out there for discussion -
No, I am just an old fuddy duddy, and prefer the white plastic, I think I can see more detail or something in it, the black plastic works well, and is good to work with, I think if it were white, it would be easier to detail and finish, ie, IF I wanted to paint the frames red for example, I could just shoot red on the white frame rather than fart around priming etc..... I'm just not a real fan of colored plastic....

No kidding .............. can I buy you a beer, Harv, and sit with you to watch this awesome show? -
Excellent engineering, Ron................. the only thing I don't really care for with Itlaeri trucks is the black plastic... some how I just can't warm to it, although I have many Italeri trucks in the stash that are on the build list to do.... I LOVE their subject matter..... keep gong Ron, I'm watching with great interest.....

YUP, me too, Bill ...... I always wonder how I have lived so long with all the 'experts' telling me what I have done wrong or am going to do wrong, I hear your comments loud and clear Rog, and agree fully.....as an example, recently, I 'had' a good friend who called me a narcissist for buying a RED truck, because he didn't like red ! Go figure ... -
BAZINGA !!!!

Once you try them , I'm sure you will never go back to anything else.... lovin the progress on your work , Harv.....

Stark contrast between the engines, eh? Looking good Harv...... how do you like those new cutters you bought a month or so ago? Have you had a chance to give them a go?
