  1. Got this today..... These kits had been hard to find lately, but may be back in production as I saw one on Sprue Brothers. On EBAY they were available, but with inflated prices...Even Plaza Japan has one priced at $ 86.00 USD !!!!! But I found this Tamiya French Light Tank AMX-13 (35349) in 1/35 on EBAY for about half that price😀 I also found the seller was from Mattesen in neighboring Cook County Illinois. You might remember i posted a build of a Lebanese version of this tank a while back Yes, it's an odd-looking tank 😀
  2. Both nice kits Ralph ! (have both in my stash)😀
  3. No I continue my Dspiae collection with their: AT-CT "I-Deal Plastic Chamferring Tool AT-TH Tool Handle. A three-sided handle with a collet AT-DKO1 Broad Blade Hobby Knife AT-CSS Cylindrical Surface Sander AT-AP Multi-Purpose Processing Platform . A strange, multi-function cube thing. Also, a pair of Tamiya kits; their Cromwell (35221) and Brummbar (35353) in 1/35 A trio of Tamiya Pro II ultra fine brushes (87172). These work well A set of three Godhand nipper covers From Dspiae , SP-SO1 . a set of Self-Adhesive sandpaper strips. Last' a pair of Hasegawa " Egg girl" resin figures I have finished 2 of these things now. Fun builds
  4. Cool! That does look like fun!
  5. Nice work John! Cool subject. I recently bought an aires ki 84 cockpit in 1/32.Annoyingly, some of the control levers were broken off and missing..... Saw a Guy on YouTube that had the same problem. Frustrating!
  6. Just a test.....all day having trouble posting images . Amazon Again ( I Think) messing with their. Kindle image Gallery app. Squirrels and a Rabbit? Good! It works😀
  7. Got some stuff..... Well, I've been looking for this one.......Always finding it "not in stock" , in 1/72 scale, in Ukraine, or in Australia. Imagine my surprise when I found it on Ebay, in the USA, and in Deerfield Illinois......just 30 minutes from me!😀 It's Clear Prop's Gloster Pioneer E28/39 in 1/48 scale (CP4823). Always was interested in this aircraft! Wish It was in 1/32......but what the hell Found some aftermarket for this kit; from KELIK Scale Models, a set of 3d printed decals for the interior (RESK48110K) They look pretty good, I think. Also, from Eduard, A set of a set of Photoetch for the Tamiya Brewster Buffalo in 1/48 (EDUFE279). The set I bought earlier had some broken parts I discovered. Last, a set of canopy masks for Fine Molds MX7/k Ohka kit in 1/48 from Dead Design Models. (VM48 O43). I have the trainer version of the Ohka, which is a somewhat less Horrible thing Looks like a decent model😀 I think the 3d print looks ok Definitely a milestone aircraft 😀
  8. Looks like a great kil! Will follow and welcome to the forum😀
  9. Nice one, Hubert! Looking forward to your build😀
  10. Nice! I might get one of those after I finish making 50 or so kits🤔
  11. Very cool. At first, I didn't realize it was 1/32 scale. An interesting subject and in large scale.
  12. As for the 1/16 scale kits, it seems to be a sort of "golden age" for them. I recently picked up a 1/16 PaK 40 gun by Takom and have others. I'm going to get Andy's big M3 halftrack when it arrives. and then call it quits for a while for buying. Looking forward to the rest of your build.
  13. Good stuff, Ralph! It's hard to keep up with your posts. 😀 Never tried the texturing thing before with the putty and the cement, interesting. I have most of the kits you recently purchased.... I'm a big Tamiya fan and have a lot in my stash. I also like the 1/16 kits that have been coming out. Well, Ralph, keep up the good work...Will be following along.
  14. Nice! I like the mix of dark yellow and primed areas..very cool. Will you be adding the fenders? Paul
  15. Nice job, and thanks for the info on the Miniart kit. Very nice.
  16. Hobbylink had them but I see that they are discontinued now. .......I'll look out for them.
  17. Wasn't sure if I'd post this. considering, but, here it is.... I thought somebody might be interested. I saw this on Andy's site the other day and thought it would be a fun build.... I posted some artillery builds here before..but in 1/35, well, they're tiny. This thing, will be reasonably big! It's Das Werk's new 1/16 German 7.5 cm PaK 40 (mid/late) 2 in 1 ( DW 16020). It looks pretty good....There's a choice of 3 wheel/tire combos, a turned metal barrel, ammo, ammo crates, and ammo cases. There's also, three decal options, and different muzzle brake options. No figures, however.... but I'm sure there'll be something from aftermarket soon, if not already. Anyway, as always, I hope someone finds this useful 😀 A good site for pictures...... https://www.net-maquettes.com/pictures/pak-40-walk/ I hope there will be more guns in this scale.
  18. Nice work😀 I like your welds and weathering!
